OK, I gave the rules a good read and I can not see how this would violate them, so here you go- The setting.txt goes in the dir with the boot.dol. You need a setting.txt for your region. There is one included for ntsc/pal, but if you don't want to have the same SN as everyone else who have used this app, you can edit/create a setting.txt with- You can open a pal setting.txt with thatby mauifrog - FixMii

The app does not apper on wiibrew anymore, I don't know if I can link it here. It should be ok as it does not appear to violate the rules, but I will let a mod confirm. You should be able to find it.by mauifrog - FixMii

Use system settings replace mod, restore a pal setting.txt. You need a gc controller and the ios used by that app. Your setting.txt is jacked, possibly you uninstalled system menu. You probably also downgraded from 4.2 since you have boot2 v4 which would have installed with nsmb. So you probably have stub ios60 and bricked with the 4.1 update, removing boot2 bootmii. The wii does not need and software modifications for the swapdisc-pwns trick, but you would need an older DVD drive that could be chipped. You would then boot an in region swapdisc game and use that to boot ssbb-pal from your 4.3u recovery menu. So you would need to get some hardware and open up your wii to get it fixed. That would probably cost you 30-50$, and opening the wii will void any N warby mauifrog - FixMii

Just update the wiishop channel and the ios 56 with dop-mii wiibrew edition. Then you should be able to dl Netflix from the shop channel without updating. If you do update, be sure you have the newest HBC installed first.by mauifrog - The Junkyard

How so, you can not backup a dvd without circumventing DMR. If dvds had no DMR it would be perfectly legal under fair use laws, similar to copying a cd. But all dvd media has DMR protection, even vhs has macrovision and DMCA say you go to hell for circumventing those protections. Not that is really bothers me, so long if he owns the movies, but perhaps just ask how to play movies and leave out thby mauifrog - Getting Started

Unfortunately backing up copies of movies you own is a violation of US DMCA and is not supported here. Please try to ask your questions in a form that does not violate the site rules. I would try a fresh download of the hackmii installer, and extract it directly to your sd-card, perhaps with a program like 7-zip. I would also waste a bit of my time formatting the card with the sd formater v3. Then I would try again. Perhaps try 2 or 3 more times, perhaps on all 3 cards. But if that still failed, I would uninstall and reinstall ios58. I don't think you can try to fix ios58by mauifrog - Getting Started

Use savemiifrii, if your recover menu loads you may have a bad bluetooth module. You could also try to load a retailgame disc from the HBC, see if you can sync. Your setting.txt could also not have a valid region in it, you can check with a syscheck. Region unknown will = black screen. Wifi and DVD drive are possible, the RM would load, but is less common.by mauifrog - FixMii

Homebrew channel does not work well on SM 1.0, it installs and runs but there is no channel to launch with, you have to load with a forwarder. SM 1.0 does not support SD cards, so you can't use savegame exploits. SM 1.0 does not have any ios the the HBC can use to run, so some functional ios needs to be installed, like 58. Only way to install HBC on 1.0 is via custom disc. Best to update froby mauifrog - Getting Started

Use bannerbomb to load dop-mii wiibrew edition You need to install updated ios versions of ios30-36. Hackmii installer hangs at the scam screen when these ios have been downgraded to 3.2 versions. The installer will try to reload ios, starting with 30 and moving up to 36. On a newer wii these downgraded ios crash and hang the installer.by mauifrog - Getting Started

It sounds like you semi bricked your Korean wii. I am guessing that you installed SM 3.2u, without changing the settings to USA. This results in a 3.2 KOR in the RM, which gives a black screen after the health screen. A semi bricked 4.2 KOR would give green or purple screen after the health screen, so I thing 3.2. If it is 4.3e you can make an autoboot "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" -Pal disc, boot it via RM with savemiifrii and run Smash Stack Pal If it is 4.3u/j/k, you can do a disc swap trick like Mario Kart -PWNS or DiscSwap-PWNS, then use that to load SSBB-Pal. As it is now, Smash Stack Pal can be run from the recovery menu on all regions, making any wii with a working recovery menu fixable.by mauifrog - FixMii

Ok so all the apps that need permissions are ok sine they can run on ios36-v1042, because it is not patched. I get it. So if wan't to run any apps that don't have ABHPROT support, like arc, you need to use ios36-v1042. Is it ok to use an IOS similar to IOS36-v1042 if, your wii can not run v1042. My understaning was that wiibrew does not support applications that patch iOS in favor of ABHPROT, but wiibrew stills supports applications that run on iOS permissions, like priiloadet, any region changer, etc I was only pointing out the ABHPROT is still a little buggy and with apps such as priiloader there is a potential for bridling if it fails.
