QuoteprofetylenAcceleration is not instantaneous, only close to instantaneous... and if it was instantaneous, then it would also be infinite (since t, as is now described in my previous post, would equal 0.) QuoteprofetylenBTW, there's a much simpler (as it doesn't require any wiimotes (which also makes it less fun, but since it requires more calculation it is also more fun)) way of measuring force if you have a sandbag of known mass. That is absolutely true, but it is also true that that would never make a science project, since all of that are already proved facts. So instead of doing aby Axel - Homebrew General
Fine Magil, but I can tell you that anyone that actually 'plans on creating an emulator', doesn't come to a forum asking 'how do I do?' LOL QuoteDarkZXBut i dont have a clue how to do that... QuoteprofetylenF = m * a How could I have missed that! :) Yeah, it is the more general formula of Weight calculation: W = m * g , where the gravity is a constant for acceleration. I guess the wiimote can then be used with no problem to calculate the force of the kicks, as long as the dummy moves and you know its mass. It does not matter if it falls back, it is the initial movement acceleby Axel - Homebrew General

Don't downgrade his Wii to 4.1 unless you make sure bootmii can be installed into boot2 and you have already done so, and also backed up his current NAND! If you don't know his Wii serial number, model, factory firmware version, etc, you better avoid downgrading it or you could run into the risk of bricking his Wii and he will call you responsible. Well, I don't really believe this thread was fully dead. It is not that old (less than 10 days) and the problem reported is still not solved, so it is still open for answers. If adj789 is experiencing the same issue after doing the same update, then we can consider his post fits well in here. Otherwise, they would tell him: There is already one thread discussing this! In other words, you have 2 choices: If you want to keep HBC: 1) Update HBC first, to its latest version. 2) Afterwards, update your Wii to latest Menu version. 3) HBC will persist after updating. If you don't want to keep HBC: 1) Update your Wii to latest Menu version. 2) The update will erase your current HBC. Yeah, I also believe the Wiimote can be fixed on the back of the Bob, however, the dummy Bob will do need to MOVE back when kicked, otherwise the wiimote will not detect any movement speed. The problem I see is that 7th grade kids might not be able to kick it strong enough to make it move :( Also, the more the dummy moves, the best the accelerometer will work. Thinking on this, I could sugby Axel - Homebrew General
Well, I will just think out loud here. Maybe something I say can be helpful to your son... The accelerometers don't measure the force, they measure the speed of movement. However, in order to use them to measure the speed of a kick, it would have to get attached to the foot, which takes me to the following: 1) Would the wiimote break with the kick? 2) Might the wiimote harm the personby Axel - Homebrew General
Come on!!!! After 265 posts you don't know that any LU64+ can not have IOSes downgraded??? Man, you are screwing it up really bad! I recommend you to use SaveGame Manager MOD (simple interface) or SaveGame Manager GX (fancy graphic interface) instead. However you need an IOS with NAND permissions enabled in order to use any of them. As you planned to use SaveGame Extractor/Installer, I can assume you already know that and have one.by Axel - Getting Started
There is no contraindication on using MicroSD cards, you should be good using it. However, some MicroSD cards are not compatible with the Wii, but you can not know if yours is until you try it. So feel confident to go ahead and try it. In the worst scenario it won't work, then you will know. Good Luckby Axel - Getting Started
