Just because it has GC ports does not automatically make it old enough for bootmii as boot2 (or DVD discs).by bg4545 - FixMii
Installing the Homebrew Channel will not affect your network/internet setup or the way your games work. If the USB controllers work in-game, they will continue to work. Some USB controllers won't work with homebrew apps themselves, however.by bg4545 - Getting Started
The HBC as well as a number of apps can load from a HDD, as long as its formatted as FAT32. Not all apps will work this way though so for some there is no way to eliminate the SD card.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
We don't support USB Loaders. Read the forum rules.by bg4545 - The Junkyard
Sorry can't help you there. Discussion of WADs is not permitted on these forums.by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
It's because you patched the IOS that the HBC is using. It should be IOS58 (you can see if you press the home button while in the HBC). Use DOP-Mii to reinstall that IOS (it is probably IOS58) and don't patch it.by bg4545 - FixMii
There are no Settings homebrew apps which can change internet settings, so they just redirect to the Wii Menu settings. You need to try installing the System Menu again.by bg4545 - FixMii
From what I could understand, installed a WAD of System Menu 4.3 (and IOS80 I assume). Then you uninstalled that same WAD afterwards. You have permanently bricked your Wii. Since you uninstalled the System Menu, there is nothing for your Wii to load when it turns on and, thus, gives you a blank screen. I believe the only way to fix it is to possible use a NAND programmer and flash the Wii'sby bg4545 - FixMii
You need to load Wii64 from the Homebrew Channel. BootMii is only for loading homebrew MINI executables.by bg4545 - Getting Started
Don't mention downloading ROMs again, as it is against the rules. I'm glad you got the problem solved.by bg4545 - Cheat Codes
I would suggest that you copy all the files from your SD card and then reformat it, then copy the files back to itby bg4545 - BootMii Beta
@JjStAr none of that is the case. As much as I don't want to help you because of your obvious interest in pirating games so you don't have to buy them, I will say you probably just have to start the exploits over from scratch. Make sure your Wii has the correct date, and perform the exploit again with it set to 4.3. Also, many of the YouTube tutorials are not very clear or safe toby bg4545 - Homebrew General
I'm confused as to what part of "backups and backup loaders will get you banned" is confusing to you. Do not discuss backup loaders.by bg4545 - The Junkyard
I don't have the answer to your questions however I'm pretty sure that when a .dol is running it is loaded into memory so you could delete/change a dol file while it's running.by bg4545 - Coding
@JjStAr if you don't actually know then don't reply. IOSes are the system files for the Wii which let games and homebrew access the hardware of the Wii. They contain modules with basically 'drivers' for the hardware of the Wii. There are many different IOSes on the Wii however only one can be running at one time. MIOS is what allows GameCube games to run. It allows the Gaby bg4545 - Software
I would suggest you run it on IOS36 and if it asks for AHBPROT then use that.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
We don't support patching IOSes. That option in DOP-Mii will patch an IOS with the trucha bug which allows fakesigned content to be used/installed on the Wii.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
I didn't understand your expression because here in the U.S. many people had and have Gamecubes. I, of course, can't speak for Belgium though so if they're hard to come by in your area then that's different. I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool and a challenge but I personally don't have the knowledge to take on that kind of project and those who do aren'tby bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
QuoteTangeekMy question is quite simple : is it possible to use a real GBA as a controller, maybe even as a game source (if a cartridge is in it) through a Link Cable connected to a Gamecube controller slot ? As far as I know, not much is known about how the cable works. Because of that, it is not possible to transfer data between it using homebrew. QuoteTangeekI know (and have tested) that thby bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
If you try to launch the latest HBC from priiloader it will fail. I'm not sure why but I felt it had to do with the way the HBC was made.by bg4545 - FixMii
Also note that Priiloader will not boot the Homebrew Channel anymore.by bg4545 - FixMii
BootMii doesn't boot HackMii . You need to run an exploit such as Letterbomb and use it to load the HackMii Installer. Use the HackMii Installer to install the Homebrew Channel and/or BootMii. Use the Homebrew Channel to load homebrew applications.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
I believe there is a way with an app that will install/uninstall korean keys although I can't quite remember.by bg4545 - Getting Started
You can use your Wii normally, it will not be bricked if you are using anything officially from Nintendo. Feel free to purchase any games from the Wii Shop Channel.by bg4545 - Getting Started
*Multiple threads merged* Your question has been answered numerous times but here you go. Question: How can I get my Wii motionPlus to work with utilities in the Homebrew Browser? Answer: Recompile the apps from source code with the latest homebrew libraries. The reason the Wii Remote Plus works in the Homebrew Channel, the Homebrew Browser, and many more recent applications is because wby bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
With the information you provided it's hard to tell what the problem is. Simply overwriting cIOS would never cause a brick. I suggest you try these two things: - See if the Wii has Priiloader installed by holding the Reset button when powering it on. - See if you can access the rescue menu. To do this you need a Gamecube controller (preferably 3rd party) to take apart. You must press all fby bg4545 - FixMii
Saying, "I installed bootmii as an ios because I think the bootmii as an ios works more better" is incorrect as BootMii loses functionality when installed as IOS compared to BootMii as boot2. You are correct in stating that it is compatible with all Wii's. Make sure that you have used the latest HackMii Installer (1.2) to install BootMii. I believe that previous versions of BootMii had issby bg4545 - Getting Started

It is not possible to use those channels on the Wii U because the Wii U does not support WiiConnect24. The channels require WiiConnect24 to work. @syc20099: the app you mentioned is not support on these forums and neither is the IOS you mentioned because it is a cIOS.by bg4545 - Getting Started
