You don't need BootMii for the Homebrew Channel. It is mainly for recovery purposes only. As you have figured out, you can use the Homebrew Browser and other homebrew apps without BootMii.by bg4545 - Getting Started
First of all, following YouTube videos blindly is a bad idea. It is a good idea that you took pause to ask here. It is perfectly fine to continue. What the message is saying is that you cannot install BootMii as boot2. BootMii/boot2 is not necessary for homebrew and is only helpful when it comes to restoring a bricked/messed up Wii.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
If you have no BootMii and no way to load homebrew (such as Priiloader/Preloader), you cannot fix your Wii. You would need a hardware NAND programmer and a fresh NAND dump.by bg4545 - Getting Started
Quoteoneoddguy I have a black Wii running 4.3u and have downloaded the letterbomb exploit. I get the message, click it and reboots, everything appears to be fine. When I click to install the homebrew channel, I get one dot and then a stack dump, same thing with Hackmii. I tried reformatting the card, no dice. I tried doing it on another Wii, and it worked fine. Any thoughts on what I'm doingby bg4545 - Homebrew General
As I already said, there is no information on how to access anything using that cable. You won't get any other answers on these forums.by bg4545 - Coding
You'll have to look elsewhere for info on that. To my knowledge no one has figured out how it works.by bg4545 - Software
Use Letterbomb or some other way to load homebrew to load DOP-Mii, then install clean, unmodified versions of all the IOSes you have patched. Then re-install the HBC and it should work. Note that these forums don't support cIOS or USB loaders. They are likely the cause of your Homebrew Channel issue.by bg4545 - FixMii
Just update your Wii and/or Wii shop channel and get Netflix from the shop.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
We don't support USB loaders here. Read the forum rules.by bg4545 - The Junkyard
No need to bump. There is not a way.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests
There is not and since SSBB does not support USB controllers of any kind, I don't think that would be possible without some serious modifications to the game.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests
We don't support that app here. It is very dangerous and generally a bad idea to use; especially if you don't know what you're doing.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
You copied save data of the games and not the games themselves. Whoever sold you the Wii probably had the games on a hard drive or something like that (the Wii only has 512MB of memory) so you don't have any games to play unless you bought your own.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
Also note that you cannot use Letterbomb on a Wii U vWii. You need a recent game exploit.by bg4545 - Wii U - Wii Mode

QuoteUK777Please use proper grammer. Because of your poor grammer I can't read you post correctley. In other words i can't help you. EDIT: I think that what you are mentioning is illegal software and/or is against the wiibrew fourm rules. (Sorry if it isnt.). *Grammar *your post *correctly Please use proper spelling when trying to make your point that someone has poor grammar andby bg4545 - Homebrew General
I believe part of the code specifies which button activates it however I don't know enough about the codes to know how to change it.by bg4545 - Cheat Codes
It will work on any Wii that has a working SD card (to store the cheat files) and working disc drive (to play the game).by bg4545 - Cheat Codes
QuotesigilQuoteSifJarWBFS = crap. it is an outdated "file system" (not even a real file system really) used by outdated warez loaders and nothing else. don't talk about it here again. I see here and there such dumb statements about WBFS that it's dead, etc. Young dorks not having real IT experience try to pretend wise and smart and say something they have no real knowledge of. I didn't even notice that.. Well there you go. No need for discussion.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests
I'm sorry but why does there need to be a Wii emulator in C++? Dolphin already works very well.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests
I don't think any devs will pick this up. If it's not that hard maybe you could take it upon yourself to work on it.by bg4545 - Ideas, requests
It would work however unless you backed up your games beforehand then there would be no way to get the disc images of your games. You could download them but that has questionable legality even if you own the disks.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
It means mentioning them. We can't help you here.by bg4545 - The Junkyard
The emulator channels you installed are forwarders and require you to have the emulators on an SD card. Make sure your drive is formatted as FAT32 so that homebrew can read it. We don't support USB Loaders on these forums; Read the rules.by bg4545 - Homebrew Applications
You can try loading your games with Gecko OS and change the video mode to NTSCby bg4545 - Getting Started
You cannot get a save file from the content.bin file. All save files are stored on the SD card as data.bin files. You had copied the channel to your SD card, which does not include the save file. The content.bin contains the channel itself and is useless on your new Wii since you can redownload the channel.by bg4545 - Homebrew General
