QuoteWaxyPumpkin72whats the point in that? How else would you do it. BootMii can't and shouldn't rely on the system menu setting.by daniel_c_w - Ideas, requests
You can actually be sure, if you type it in duoble quotes. "boot.elf" (on windows, that is) EDIT: that trick doesn't seem to work anymoreby daniel_c_w - Getting Started
Doesn't it only change the videomode of bootmii?by daniel_c_w - Ideas, requests
For some reason the installer (which I never used myself) sees the system menu as IOS 2. Of course, that is not unlikely, because the system menu has the title ID 00000001-00000002. That ID can be raed as IOS 2. To create a super user ticket, to access all folders on the NAND, a title 00000001-00000000 is created. That could be read as IOS 0by daniel_c_w - Getting Started
Quoteekeekeby default it points to NULL memory MAYBE, if it is declared as a global or a static variable. DEFINITLY NOT, if it is a local variable. To be sure, use char *blablabla = 0; (It is definitly not a bad practice to initilaize all varibales anyway) Note: I am talking C here, I am not sure about it on C++.by daniel_c_w - Coding
QuoteSteelSLasherDigital switchover in uk warranted a drop of teletext by bbc When? As Doctor Who's "Planet Of The Dead" aired (eastern), I still could see teletext on BBC1 (via DVB-S on Astra 23 at degrees) (I didn't check last week, when children of earth aired, and usually my dish points at Astra 19)by daniel_c_w - Ideas, requests
QuoteSteelSLashercounterstrike might be interesting, i think portal is also open source so that would be pretty cool on the wii Both games are not open source, or "free" in any form. The only way would be a remake. In the case of Counter Strike, at least the map format is well known, and the engine is rather smiilar to an open sorce engine (quake) EDIT: sepllingby daniel_c_w - Ideas, requests
Quoteflyguylooks like they might have already.....wiibrew forums Actuaaly that plays into my second theory. An error while "informing the wii, that i am his daddy" could lead to an IOSby daniel_c_w - Getting Started
Anything else? cIOS, Backup launchers, Modchips? If not, it sounds like, your Wii's drive needs to be fixed.by daniel_c_w - The Junkyard
What's the version number of cIOS38?by daniel_c_w - The Junkyard
It depends on the lincences. The majority of the games on that list can be ported (at least from a legal standpoint) to the Wii, as long as you are willing to keep it open source. Of course some games might perform poor on the Wii, because they run slow or are designed for another interface. Or they may be so dependent on other software, that porting them to the Wii would be way more difficulby daniel_c_w - Ideas, requests

They have Teletext in Canada? I always thought, it was more of a european thing Or are you talking about Closed Captioning?by daniel_c_w - Ideas, requests
I believe title ID 1-0 (could be interpreted as IOS 0) is used to create a Super User ticket.by daniel_c_w - Getting Started
FIXED that: QuoteSifJar but there is only one UNPROVEN case of them charging more because of homebrew. If you send it in, and they charge you way more then the usual fee (IIRC 89€), then you would be trhe first proven case.by daniel_c_w - FixMii
Quotehenke37Just guessing here, but maybe it's in a file called arena.c? failing that, system.c. Propably :D But where do I find libogc's source code files? In devKitPro and at its site I only find the header files. A simple Google search didn't turn up anything for me either. And by the way: where can I find the malloc implementation from devkitPPC? Steel, Darkness, Hyperhacker? Where do you live? The only channels in Germany, that dropped Teletext are CNN Europpe and BBC world news (those are of course not German). All others send teletext over all broadcasts (analogue, DVB-x) Support for hearing impaired people is minimal over here. The major digital TV system in Europe (DVB) offers DVD-like subtitle support - no teletext is neby daniel_c_w - Ideas, requests
