Unless you are really good at soldering parts and computers, I would reccomend sending it to Nintendo.by gameboy13 - Offtopic
Downgrading = FAIL.by gameboy13 - The Junkyard
I have installed the latest version of Ubuntu Linux on my laptop a while back, but I am having problems setting up my Wi-Fi. I have followed various tutorials around the internet, but none seem to work for me. (Or I am a complete idiot.) The one I have looked over the most is this one. I have tried to use Ndiswrapper with the driver for my Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop, but it will not work. Can anyoby gameboy13 - Offtopic
"Autoboot version?" Please clarify. And to which slot did you install the cIOS?by gameboy13 - Getting Started
Well, if you wanted to cheat on VC or Wiiware on 4.0+, you need cIOS, or a trucha-enabled IOS36.by gameboy13 - Getting Started
A great addition to Wii homebrew would be a port of Neverball. It's a game sort of like Super Monkey Ball, it's open-source (of course) and it was coded in C with SDL. I would try to attempt this myself, but I don't have much coding experience.by gameboy13 - Ideas, requests
OMG, an ad blocker that really works!!! I really hate those big flash ads, they slow my PC down. Guess what? Not anymore!by gameboy13 - Offtopic

I would like to, but I don't have Team Fortress 2. I DO have Garry's Mod. But I don't have a computer powerful enough to play it though.by gameboy13 - Offtopic
There is actually no reason to update to 4.1 if you can help it. The only reason you would need to update to 4.1 is if you wanted the SDHC System Menu features, and the SD Card channel menu. Also, did you install Bootmii as boot2?by gameboy13 - Getting Started
Try using a different version of Bannerbomb.by gameboy13 - Getting Started
QuoteaujakevQuotegameboy13QuoteSifJarNo I think that Twiizers debunked the myth before they were released. But I believe that in the readme for the HackMii Installer, it says something like "IOSCatz - in your wii, watching ur ISOz", so its still an on-going joke. It's also in the Bootmii credits. Yeah, I was bored at the time and watched the credits "wave" by. No, that's ceiling cat,by gameboy13 - Offtopic
You should download Gecko OS 1.9.1. The version you are most likely using (1.9.2) will not work on 4.2.by gameboy13 - Getting Started
I have read about this. You are using a cIOS that does not work with channel loading. Use this instead: cIOS Patchmii Installerby gameboy13 - Homebrew Applications
I really like the WiiTV idea!!! But I don't think we can update the Photo Channel like that.by gameboy13 - Ideas, requests
There are ways to get channel loading on your System Menu, but none are supported here.by gameboy13 - Homebrew Applications
Well, it doesn't permantly kill Gamecube support. If you ever want it back, just remove the region free hack. I don't think this will be fixed for a while. BTW, you can use Gecko OS to load Gamecube games if you decide to use that patch.by gameboy13 - Homebrew Applications
Well, to remove cIOSCorp, I'm pretty sure you need to update your System Menu. DON'T update over the internet, though, because you will update to 4.2, which might brick your Wii. (Softmodded or not) Use a disc update if possible. And yes, softmod packs = fail.by gameboy13 - Homebrew General

QuoteSifJarQuotealainveyQuoteArikadoI've been dabbling in writing DS homebrew Fancy coding a SNES emulator? There already is a SNES emulator for wii. Alainvey is talking about a DS emulator.by gameboy13 - Offtopic
Don't bother updating, it doesn't have any new features, and will impair some homebrew. Use the Wii Shop and IOS61 Installer to get the shop channel back.by gameboy13 - Getting Started
I'm pretty sure, yeah.by gameboy13 - Offtopic
I already did. I was tempted to vote for Gordon Freeman, though.by gameboy13 - Offtopic
I think you have to have the Famicom system BIOS, which we cannot provide here.by gameboy13 - Homebrew Applications

WOW, that really is one awesome teacher!by gameboy13 - Offtopic
Don't update to 4.2. Ever. There are absolutely NO advantages, and you also might brick. The update to 4.2 has bricked people who haven't even modded their Wiis.by gameboy13 - Homebrew General
If you have Bootmii, you can boot into the Homebrew Channel and uninstall that WAD you mentioned. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. Edit: Oops, I just read that you had installed Bootmii as IOS. You should have installed it as boot2.by gameboy13 - FixMii
I've seen this before. It kinda freaked me out at first, but I figured it out. ;-)by gameboy13 - Offtopic
