Have you installed anything else other than the hackmii installer stuff? HBC can't cause this behavior.by TopGun96 - Homebrew General
1. Homebrew-wise, yes 2.yes 3.I don't think you can change in the system menu (region wise) 4. I believe that it is permanent (but you can change it again later.) 5. Not that I know of 6. Most likely not. It is usually LU64 and higher that has problems. Ps: to play other region games you can just lauch it through gecko osby TopGun96 - Getting Started
I've got about as much coding experience as you (probably less) so I can't help. Sorry!by TopGun96 - Testing Corner
Yeah I figured that I was just throwing it out there.by TopGun96 - Testing Corner
Lol but I was just saying that we can't use twiizers's exploit without them letting us.by TopGun96 - Offtopic
I for one would love an option to choose which IOS to use. (don't know why it wasn't in it in the first place)by TopGun96 - Testing Corner
Oh yeah I must not be thinking straight thanks for pointing that out. :)by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
You will need to find what version your boot1 is by going into the bootmii credits button. Then you will need to find a friend with a wii with the same version as you.by TopGun96 - FixMii
I have heard of you having to have all caps with an adapter in another thread so I was just wondering.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
Yeah but isn't the hackmii installer copyrighted? Therefore you couldn't release it because it is twiizers code/exploitby TopGun96 - Offtopic
I think it could be done because bootmii currently tells itself not to make a copy of boot2. So your idea is a good one.by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
But the problem is... Do either of those reside in boot1by TopGun96 - Offtopic
Oh yeah.... Duh! What a stupid mistake on my part. Sorry. That is why bootmii doesn't make a copy of boot2! Silly me :)by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
i know. (hence the smiley) :)by TopGun96 - Offtopic
well i dont want to downgrade right now.... but i was just wondering for later...... maybe to fix a brick laterby TopGun96 - Getting Started
QuoteSifJar Like a better solution for those with an invulnerable boot1. I've got an idea hereby TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
what about a trucha enabled MINI? :)by TopGun96 - Offtopic
i know anytitle delter needs a bunch of ES functions but i dont know how to get ES functions into IOS 35 I only know how to add ES_identify to IOS 36by TopGun96 - Getting Started
I was thinking that it could be possible to use bootmii as something before the system menu just like preloader for those people with newer wii's. It would reside before the system menu (maybe even before preloader for those that want both) but would have the benefits of the boot2 app. This could also allow for wiimote support. I am not saying this would be a replacement of boot2 butby TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
we cant help you with illegall roms and i dont thinnk it is possible to emulate a chip in the snes just yet...by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
I have contacted wb3000 in hopes that he will port it. i guess we will see...by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests
Ahhh.... IOS 35 (for anyone else who needs to know) So all that is needed is to trucha patch IOS 35 or are there some ES functions that need to be added?by TopGun96 - Getting Started
Alright that's about all my questions for now and once again thanks for the great welcome.by TopGun96 - Offtopic
You can't install boot2 because boot1 prevents it. Downgrading this boot1 would lead to an un-fixable brick. This is because boot0 checks a hash in boot1. Downgrading boot1 would change the hash thus boot0 would not let boot1 start. The start procces goes OTP (one time programable) boot0 boot1 boot2 (where bootmii resides). Therefore you cannot do anything to get back the old boot1. Sorry!by TopGun96 - Homebrew General
Probably from an app written under MINIby TopGun96 - Offtopic
That is what bootmii does. You make a NAND.bin with the backmii up function (picture of a chip with an arrow pointing to an sd card) then if you ever need to restore that backup with restoremii (picture of sd with arrow pointing to chip)by TopGun96 - Getting Started
Wait they sent you back an older wii? What is Ninty up to now? :Pby TopGun96 - Getting Started
Well it is sorta unbrickable because even if everything (save HBC and the IOS it uses) is corrupt you can most likely fix it with some app or another because this let's you boot directly to the Homebrew Channel. (skipping the corrupt system menu). Plus if you make a NAND backup and then screw EVERYTHING up (minus boot2) you will then be able to restore that backup and fix it. (but make sureby TopGun96 - Homebrew General
They didn't even give you a fixed boot1? If not that is great news.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
