I feel like I should point out, alot of forwarder channels that go to homebrew, they record the time I use an app, but only if used through a forwarder channel... Interesting, it may have some sort of a special hook that it uses to record time, maybe like Gecko uses its hooks... Just a guessby hunterm - Software

First, figure out which System Menu version you have by going to Wii Settings and it should show the ver number (ex. 4.1U or 3.2U etc.) Then, Get a SD Card, I recommend a 2gb Sandisk or PNY card. Then, download Hackmii Installer, out of all of the exploits you can use I suggest using Bannerbomb, you don't even need a game to use it! Get DVDx, it lets you play DVDs on your Wii with Mplayerby hunterm - Getting Started
And if you have System Menu 4.2 use Trucha Bug Restorer Mod; i forget where you can find it, but just google it.by hunterm - Homebrew Applications
The only possible way I can think of to brick you Wii from it is to: A. Play jumprope with your Wii's power cord B. Unplug your internet during an update C. Turn off your Wii while updatingby hunterm - Getting Started
The only thing those updates will do is just remove HBC if you have HBC 1.0.4 and bootmii, along with DVDx. But, if you update to HBC 1.0.5 before updating, update your sys menu, and reinstall BootMii and DVDx. yayzorzby hunterm - Getting Started

And a suggestion to any Homebrew Developers, maybe someone could make a Priiloader/Preloader Configuration Application, like BootMii Configure App.by hunterm - Homebrew Applications
And in the future; 1. Never follow "OMG TOTAL NOOB STARTERZ GUIDE TO HOMEBREWZ" instructions 2. Never use failpacks 3. Never use Waninkoko tools 4. Never use CIOScorp 5. If you can install Boot-Mii to boot2, and all should be well. 6. NEVER;NEVER;NEVER;NEVER;NEEEEEVVVVVVVVVEEEEERRRRRR; USE WANIKOKO'S TOOLS, THEY ARE MADE OF FAIL AND CRAP. Aww.... :( Well, I can just move my VC games, and other WiiWare apps to the SD Card! :Dby hunterm - Getting Started
Would it be safe for me to move my HBC over to my SD Card Menu? UPDATE: Let me be more specific. I mean moving it with the Wii's Data Management settings, and then booting it from the SD Card Menu.by hunterm - Getting Started
I think of the Wii as an internet gaming console (IMHO). Wiis are usually connected to the net 24/7, so it just seems natural for a online OS to be a good os for the wii!by hunterm - Offtopic
