Strange if it is GeexBox doing that. I'm sure the team would like to know about it. If you're on Windows Vista UAC makes security a pain in the backside. I've not got windows 7 but I think it's pretty much the same. Here's an idea, may sound stupid but have you done a clean build since updating devkitpro/ogc. I've noticed sometimes if you replace libraries and don't do a full build it's still got the old one linked in the object files.by scanff - Coding

I've got a couple of capture cards that work pretty well. I did my own for bash the castle and wiiradio after contra got shut down. Is there something specific you want? If I get a little spare time I'll do one for you. Just send me a PM with details of what you want.by scanff - Homebrew General
Quotemegamike360That is NOT what I meant. sigh. I meant simply creating a PC verion of the game FIRST. When it comes to the wii, I have only ported a few things directly from PC, however, I have plenty of experience with flash, so don't tell me I do not know what I am talking about in that regard. The way you worded your sentance confused me is all. Ok. First things first. Do you think thby scanff - Ideas, requests
What do you mean by "it was built on the NES Super mario bros". This looks like a flash based fan clone of Mario, maybe I'm missing something or you're just trolling. Sorry, I don't really understand your last post.by scanff - Ideas, requests
Quotemegamike360I have been doing extensive reading, and it looks like I could decompile the game and use the already made source to create a new version of it. I am currently talking to the creator about it. Huh? Impossible unless you port flash. You have to basically need to clone the game.by scanff - Ideas, requests
QuotecyberiaI hadnt seen this guide.. Thanx. I did and now i ve installed HBC. the thing now is.. how do i download games from? how do i use it and play? can i play games like COD or Pro evolution soccer? No, you can download homebrew. If you are looking to do illegal things then go away, we don't support that around here. Read the big red letters on the top of the forum.by scanff - Getting Started

Check out the wiki on starting development - . There are port of several libraries like SDL that would make it easier, see - . It's really not that hard to develop for Wii, just play around for a while with the examples. There are a few other people who have created tutorials.by scanff - Ideas, requests

QuoteArikadoWe're looking at getting better hosting. It would mean we have to put a few ads on the site though :/ Seems to connect to the site OK but I think it's having trouble with the database. I've noticed cheap hosts have crappy database servers that are always overloaded. Quotenightwishfan1QuotescanffI think Duke Nukem 3D was released for Sega Megadrive/Genesis. I've not tried it but we have this emulator - It's not the same...Duke 3D on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis is more Doom esque, as in it uses a first person view, and the levels are completely different. It's worth a play through, but it doesnt compare to the pc game. I should have checkeby scanff - Ideas, requests

If you're on windows, close firefox open the command and type ipconfig /flushdns If it was that, it surely wouldn't work in Chrome though, would it? I'll try anyway, not right now, tomorrow. I'm heard this before. Sorry I can't remember the answer off the top of my head. So here's some things to try. You may want to try a deeper search on this forum as I believe I read it here. 1. Install this version - . Did you read the help and guide contained in the homebrew browser zip, it may help. 2. QuoteLordAshesWith all due respect, I know you are just trying to help, but I believe I answered this in this thread above. The reason why this is not possible is because the structure that image_data points to is not known at design time. In the simplified example above, it can point to either the startic or dynamic image structure. In my real code it can point to one of a hundred different sby scanff - Offtopic
I know the conversion works for oggs. Test an ogg with your code to verify.by scanff - Coding
I'm not sure that mp3 has been tested with SDL. However I'd try this setup first, this is what I've used for ogg playback before. Mix_OpenAudio(48000, AUDIO_S16MSB, 2, 512);by scanff - Coding
Why don't you declare void *image_data; as StaticImageType* image_data if that's what it is? void* is only really used when you want the flexibility of passing in multiple or unknown data types and casting them back later. Also is image_data supposed to hold the image data? Or is it a pointer to the StaticImageType struct? You're using it as a pointer to the StaticImageType stby scanff - Offtopic
why are you casting Objs.image_data = (StaticImageType *)tempData; that's a void* and should be Objs.image_data = (void*)tempData;by scanff - Offtopic
Did you see see this thread -by scanff - Homebrew Applications
You have to cast malloc's as it is defined as a void* i.e. StaticImageType *tempData = (StaticImageType*)malloc(sizeof(StaticImageType)); AnimatedImageType *tempData =(AnimatedImageType*)malloc(sizeof(AnimatedImageType));by scanff - Offtopic
