Just do an official update. You lose nothing, especially relative to 4.1.by WikiFSX - Homebrew General
Quotedylan1i mean fried cuz it spins constantly That doesn't actually happen. It's the Wii's laser that is a piece of garbage, not its motor.by WikiFSX - The Junkyard
QuotehuntermThis guy sounds like so much of a n00b that I wonder how he even learned how to use AnyRegionChanger. -_- He didn't. His Wii was bricked when he tried.by WikiFSX - FixMii
There are a few more: 1. Using AnyTitle Deleter to remove things if problems ever come up. 2. Using Gecko's channel launch feature.by WikiFSX - Homebrew Applications

Less than 2.2: Install no stubs but 4. 2.2+: IOS11 is OK to stub. 3.0+: IOS20 is OK to stub. 3.4+: IOS30 is OK to stub. 3.5+: IOS50 is OK to stub. 4.0+: IOS52 is OK to stub. 4.2+: IOS60 is OK to stub. Stubs with very high slot numbers, like 250, are always OK to install, as is 16.by WikiFSX - Getting Started
Hard shutdowns don't matter on the Wii natively. Unlike many PCs, the Wii never caches data, and most native apps do not. Linux apps are another story.by WikiFSX - Homebrew Applications
I don't know why I am saying this, but here's basically why the "extraction solution" is a bad idea. 1. To do it from the Wii, you need to install homebrew. This violates the warranty of the Wii, and Nintendo will not repair Wiis with homebrew installed. 2. To get any data from Wii Fit at all, using a PC or Wii, you need to write a program to do it, unless you want to have people wrby WikiFSX - Ideas, requests

I had thought about Gecko use. Only issue is you would have to build them.by WikiFSX - Ideas, requests
If you are doing clinic monitoring, there is no reason to use Wii Fit's data. Good call.by WikiFSX - Ideas, requests
Step 1. Get the required files for the System Menu you want to install (as WADs) with NUS Downloader. Put them in a folder called "wad" on your SD card root. Step 2. Put the formatter somewhere on your SD card. Step 3. Use the SD card option at BootMii's main menu to start the formatter. Step 4. You now have none of your data and a completely wiped system! However, your brick was fixed!by WikiFSX - FixMii
You didn't drop the HackMii Installer on your SD card. Get it here: Drop boot.elf on the root of your SD card.by WikiFSX - Getting Started
Install a copy of a fully patched (with Dop-IOS MOD) IOS into some unused slot (example: IOS199). Then, use AnyTitle Deleter MOD to remove the Internet Channel (and load IOS199 to do it). The only issue is that you cannot use Dop-IOS MOD to install IOSes to different slots. The errors you got before were due to the IOS lacking the ES_Identify patch.by WikiFSX - Homebrew Applications
1. 3.7E? That does not exist. To check your firmware version, go to the main menu, select the Wii icon in the lower left corner, and pick Settings. "Ver. x.xE" (if you have a non-changed European Wii) will be shown. 2. Use Indiana Pwns or Smash Stack if you own LEGO Indiana Jones or SSBB. If you don't own either, or don't feel like using either, use bannerbomb v2. Use one of thoseby WikiFSX - Getting Started
Have you tried every version of bannerbomb v2? Are you trying to launch it from the SD card menu?by WikiFSX - The Junkyard

Enough is known about the Wii Fit Plus data format to extract "body test" data. This is probably the most important part of the save file, as it contains date, weight, height, and BMI, among other things. These tests do have to be run by users, however. The best thing to do would have them send in their SD cards and extract the data.by WikiFSX - Ideas, requests
It depends. Most applications support it, however.by WikiFSX - Homebrew General
Hi. We don't support piracy, and you violated your agreement not to talk about that. You will be banned shortly, have a nice day.by WikiFSX - The Junkyard
You should only have to do it once.by WikiFSX - FixMii
Okay, marcan finally wrote back. QuotemarcanQuoteWikiFSXI was under the impression that we did, as of now, support that. Other community members have led me to believe so, and the wiki currently carries pages for Trucha Bug Restorer (which can only be used for that purpose) and Dop-IOS MOD, which recently gained that ability.
