I suspect that you have a broken bluetooth module. However, before you replace it, you may want to verify that that is the problem. Try launching TinyLoad or Gecko OS from the HBC. If it works, launch a game and try to sync your wiimote. Should the wiimote fail to sync, skip the rest of this post; you need to replace your bluetooth module. If the loaders fail to load, keep reading. Move yby jbc007 - FixMii
I am having problems with the cheat feature in Dolphin, so I'm trying to use Gecko OS to apply game patches (SSBB mod packs, in particular). Gecko loads normally, but whenever I try to launch a game, it fails, reporting that the game's IOS is not found on the NAND or in the game's update partition. In reality, the necessary IOS is in both the NAND dump that I am using as well asby jbc007 - Offtopic
You would probably need to make the installer yourself. For the most part, these installers make use of AHBPROT (the Riivolution channel installer actually uses some secret IOS exploit, IIRC), which fortunately you currently won't find in a WAD installer. It would not be good if this was implemented into a WAD installer, since it would be used for piracy. Therefore, making a separate instby jbc007 - Ideas, requests
Some times a thread that may seem dead really comes back later on with more relevant discussion. One possibility is that users below some number of posts could only reply to recent topics or create new topics. Of course, that is assuming that this is even possible to implement.by jbc007 - Feedback & Support

This may have nothing to do with homebrew. Try to access maintenance mode. If it works, perform a system format.by jbc007 - FixMii
You could use Comex's NAND Formatter to reformat your NAND, thereby deleting all of your data. Otherwise, I'll PM you a better option within the next day (I'm kind of busy right now). Edit: Can you turn the wii on with the wiimote? If not, you may need to replace your bluetooth module.by jbc007 - FixMii
Use DOP-Mii to install the latest revision of IOS 56 and the shop channel.by jbc007 - Getting Started
Could you tell us exactly (step by step) what you have done, and what happens? Also, your wii definitely is not an "LU64+" model, is it? If it is, after downgrading IOS 36, anything that loads IOS 36 would hang.by jbc007 - Getting Started
IOS 36 definitely was not downgraded. Try downgrading it again. Be sure you are using the latest revision of DOP-Mii, that you launch it through the latest revision of the HBC, and that when it starts you select use IOSxx + AHBPROT. Then, make sure you are installing IOS 36 v1042 and not any other revision. If this does not work or it is exactly what you already did, I don't have enougby jbc007 - Getting Started
Run SysCheck (you may be able to do this with DOP-Mii instead, but I've never gotten it to work without crashing), and post the log.by jbc007 - Getting Started
If you click launch game, Gecko launches a game (provided there is a game in the wii). If you want to launch a channel, you need to click launch channel. Does this option not appear or does it not work?by jbc007 - Getting Started
Exactly, though this is not a problem.by jbc007 - Homebrew Applications
They are already distributed as .dol as well as .elf files. If you were using the .elf, try the .dol.by jbc007 - Getting Started
You need to have a trucha bugged IOS 36. Therefore, you need to use DOP-Mii to install IOS 36 v 1042 (patching the bug into newer IOSes is not supported here, since it is pointless). Do not downgrade IOS 36 (or any other IOS) if you have an "LU64+" wii. If you are unsure of how to do this, at least try launching DOP-Mii. It should be straight forward from that point.by jbc007 - Getting Started
First, go to data management and delete the USB warez launcher channel. Now, run your games through the disc channel and everything will work fine. Oh, and don't ever mention warez launchers again. Read the rules.by jbc007 - The Junkyard
Glad you got it fixed. Assuming you want all your channels and IOSes back, either perform a system update (online or from a game), or install them manually with DOP-Mii.by jbc007 - FixMii
QuoteDreanteWhat's the risk in doing this? Given that I can still play *most* things through Gecko (and I don't really have a lot of WW/VM games) is it worth attempting? There is no risk. Provided you don't touch your system menu's IOS (IOS 80 for 4.3), if something goes wrong, it can easily be fixed. Indecently, I just downloaded a Wii No Ma WAD just to prove that it can be done. Download it with NUS Downloader and install it with your favorite WAD installer, and you are good to go (provided you have region free channel capability). No hassle with region changing the shop channel is necessary.by jbc007 - Offtopic
IOS 36 is used for many games, and, until recently, most homebrew. The old revisions of all IOSes (except 15 and 16) do not run on "LU64+" wiis, but it is fine to downgrade IOS on older consoles. Downgrading contents requires that they be fakesigned. Therefore, DOP-Mii must either run on a trucha bugged IOS (if you had this, you wouldn't be using DOP-Mii in the first place), or it mustby jbc007 - FixMii
Make sure you use the latest revision of DOP-Mii (known as DOP-Mii: WiiBrew Edition). Also, you must launch it through the latest revision of the Homebrew Channel.by jbc007 - FixMii
Quotekisslayathen plz guide me as to what i must do so i can safely upgrade to 4.3! That is unbelievably simple. Go the the settings and select update. System modifications do not make this dangerous. Though, if you still don't believe this, you don't have to update at all.by jbc007 - FixMii
QuoteSifJarIf you have an IOS that accepts fakesigning, you can use AnyRegion Changer to change your Shop Channel region back to US. If that was the issue, the channel would launch from the system menu, but would go on to explain that the shop channel region was US and is now Japan and ask if this is correct. However, it would then give an error. Since he is able to access the channel at all,by jbc007 - Homebrew General
Unlike some of the other channels, the shop channel itself is region free. The shop channel region setting is stored somewhere else on the NAND, but the shop channel itself it the same in all regions. Do you have any Starfall, Startpatch, or Priiloader hacks enabled? In particular, the error when launching channels or region free channels may cause this problem. Also, can you launch the shopby jbc007 - Homebrew General
I really couldn't tell you. However, it can not possibly do any harm to your wii, so you should try it.by jbc007 - FixMii
This requires a system menu patch, which must be done with Starfall, Startpatch, or Priiloader. As these make permanent modifications to the wii's flash memory (NAND), they are not on the Homebrew Browser.by jbc007 - Homebrew General
If you can update from a game, that will likely fix it. Otherwise try uninstalling Priiloader. If you still have an issue, reinstall your system menu.by jbc007 - Homebrew General
Finally, everything becomes clear. Your NAND was formatted. Everything was deleted. This is somewhat rare, and it is unknown why this happens. You must use Comex's NAND formatter to fix this. Use NUS Downloader to download a system menu and its IOS (system menu 3.2 and IOS 30 v1040, for example) and the region select. Be sure to get the correct region of the system menu and region seleby jbc007 - FixMii
