Without boot mii as boot 2 there may not much can be done. But if you said you never run any homebrew then you wouldn't have bootmii. If you never had homebrew on it send it to nintendo and see if they will fix it. There is another method cknow called savemii and savemiifrii, I don't much about it, but its on the wiki at wiibrew.orgby dirtrider73068 - FixMii
You go try gecko os, and see what updates the games are wanting, it might tell you. And it shouldn't be cause you have homebrew installed why it won't update. Its something with the internet settings or the connection is bad.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
There is also another yu gi oh think is how its spelled. Look at wiibrew.org there is good info.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Yes since you have HBC at 1.0.8 you can update to 4.3 if you like.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
No you will need the games to run the exploit, if you don't have it go to a rental store and rent the game to get homebrew then take the game back.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Quotebg4545Quotedirtrider73068No its not dead its 3 days old. I haven't ever tried opera, might have to look at that one. Did you see the date of the first post? It was dead for over a year. No I didn't see the first, it looked like it was just started 3 days ago, I didn't check the first post when a new one like this pops up that somebody replied to.by dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
The good benefit from boot mii, comes from having it installed as boot 2. It does good brick protection, if its installed as IOS then its not good for brick protection, but can do some things. I don't and can't really use moot mii as boot 2 only as IOS, so I don't use, plus I don't do anything dumb tp brick my wii anyway. You won't need to upgrade HBC again since your already at its current version. To make use of IOS 58 once its installed, HBC will need to be reinstalled. You can use the hackmii installer, run it through HBC there will be a option to delete HBC once thats done chose to install it again, thats AFTER IOS 58 is installed, then you will have usb with IOS 58 without having 4.3.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Yes make sure you update HBC first, then you can update to 4.3 if you want. You can just get the IOS 58 installer, install IOS 58 from HBC but will need to reinstall HBC with the latest hackmii installer. Or you can use the net to let HBC update, as soon as you chose to open HBC it will ask you if you would like to update to 1.0.8. But I would suggest installing IOS 58, then use the latest hacmkiby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started

I have been using firefox for a long time, but just past couple days looked at google chrome. One thing I have found is these forums run slow in firefox, but in chrome load right up and zip along. I do like firefox add ons, like ad blocker and the smooth wheel for the mouse, it will save the web pages and tabs if it crashes or you close it out by mistake. Chrome is nice and faster, but would takeby dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
Did you update to 4.3 before updateing the HBC? If so then the 4.3 update deleted HBC, but it can be reinstalled with a exploit. Or look at your sd card to see if your apps and HBC folders are still there.by dirtrider73068 - FixMii
Sifjar- If you use google chrome it will translate from french to english.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
There is no benefit going to 4.3, it was a attempt at blocking HBC. You are better off on 4.1, and 4.2. If you want usb support you will need IOS 58, You can get the IOS 58 installer, install IOS 58, but will need to reinstall HBC with the latest hackmii installer so HBC will recognize IOS 58. I don't use priiloader so don't know any about it, You can update from the system menu. Ifby dirtrider73068 - FixMii
If you have the latest HBC 1.0.8 then you can safely update to 4.3by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
If you want usb support get the IOS 58 installer, install IOS 58 reinstall HBC so it will see it. When you install HBC get the latest hackmii installer so it will install the latest HBC. And you can run with it, DVDx is obsolete now as you can use wiimc to read dvd's. I don't think you can have boot mii boot 2 and as a IOS think its one or another. And no you will not brick by gby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
That sd card may not work. Do you have another one to try with?by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
This is just from what I have read here in the forums thats it bad to downgrade, when its time to update, I think it can either brick or cause other things to not work right. I don't what can be done to stabilize the downgrade to keep from making it worse. One of the senior guys might be better at then me, they just say to never downgrade. You can reinstall HBC with those exploits and get everything back. If you still have your sd card and didn't erase it than all your apps will still be there, it just deleted the HBC from the wii. If you don't want to buy the game you can rent it, reinstall HBC then return the game.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
You shouldn't have downgraded either, as it will cause problems now if not later down the road. You should never downgrade.by dirtrider73068 - FixMii
The newer wii's won't and can't read dvd anymore they changed the drives, only thing they will read is legit orignal game dvd.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
So there is no light on red or orange or anything, check the plug make sure its plugged in it could be the power supply is bad, and no HBC had nothing to do with this.by dirtrider73068 - FixMii
If you want to update to 4.3 and keep HBC(homebrew channel) there are 2 ways, one is open HBC if its not 1.0.8 then it will ask you if it wants to update, this is if you have the wii connected to the internet. If not you can download the latest hackmii installer put it in your apps folder and run it through HBC and install the latest HBC version. Once HBC is updated to 1.0.8 then update to 4.3 anby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
If you have your wii connected to the internet, open HBC it will ask you if you want to update to 1.0.8, choose yes, once thats done you can then update to 4.3 and HBC won't be removed. If you don't have it connected to the internet download the latest hackmii installler run it in HBC and install the latest HBC.Then update to 4.3. Without bootmii yes you launch apps for HBC its how mine is setup. Bootmii boot 2 is the best brick protection you can have but newer wii won't be able to have it, can only be installed as a IOS.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Certain wii's after a certain date couldn't read dvd's, they changed the disc drive so it wouldn't read movies but only legit original games.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
If he runs it in gecko os it would tell him what IOS needs to be updated anyway wouldn't it? If so then chose to install it.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
It removed your old HBC cause your HBC was less then the current version of 1.0.8. If you want to play and not update run gecko os.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
