The amount of playable videos you can watch on wiinet is basically limited to youtube and a couple others. Is there anyway to update or watch some of the videos the wii internet cant play? Like facebook videos for example.by ICEing - Homebrew General

Yeah nothing negative happened thankfully. Funny how even when I updated however, and re-installed some cIOS it still asked for an update. I bypassed the update with StartPatch and it works fine. So does bootmii/boot2 :)by ICEing - Homebrew General

Unfortunatly a family member put the disc in and updated it while I wasn't home. So now frustratingly enough, im on 4.3. So far all I seen gone is bootmii as boot 2. I have it on my SD card, but the bootmii screen dosen't show up when I turn on the wii like I used to. What can I do to get it back?by ICEing - Homebrew General

Ok with the release of Other M today, and my wii on 4.1, im certain that the disc will probably ask me to update. I know I can skip this using Gecko but will I have to load Gecko every single time just to avoid the disc update? :( Is there any way to bypass disc updates through the normal loading through the disc channel? And second question is I been trying to update the Shop Channel using Wiby ICEing - Homebrew General

Ah so new Wiis cant play DVDs nor have bootmii installed as boot 2. Bummer. Are there any other things that wont work?by ICEing - Homebrew General

Looks great IMO. They should add the ability to switch back and forth from the old look to the new one for people who dont like it. Or have a selection of skins altogether. Still would like to be able to have custom music in the HBC but thats not much of a big deal.by ICEing - Homebrew General

Priiloader when I have bootmii/boot2....is it worth it or useful? - 14 years ago
Basically the topic. I have bootmii installed as boot2. And StartPatch for Sys menu 4.1 (As obviously that is my sys menu) So I heard some people saying its good to have both bootmii as boot2 AND priiloader as a safe brick-prevention. Is it good to have both or...should I just keep bootmii and leave it at that? Also I heard its a pain in the ass to remove priiloader. Is this still the case?by ICEing - Homebrew General

Oh I thought you meant WiiMC DID have anti-piracy. Well anyways, yeah I just was looking through the online section and found a whole list of tv shows and movies. I been watching Family Guy, and Robot Chicken for awhile. It just wont play the movies. It has a "Wii Cinema" selection with movies inside.by ICEing - Homebrew Applications

Oh since you had no punctuation in your previous post I thought you meant WiiMC had NO piracy protection, since there was no comma between "doubt" and "WiiMC." Anyways, it does though. It plays TV shows fine and well in the online media section. It's simply the movies that didn't work and was curious as to why.by ICEing - Homebrew Applications

I was curious. I was looking through the WiiMC online media, and browsed through several things until I came upon a TV Show list (Started watching a little family guy lol) and also a Wii Movie List. I looked through, and saw actual movies that you can select, but when I did, I got an error saying it couldn't load the file. Is the WiiMC able to play movies from the online media section? I was recently trying out a debug stage on the Conduit online. I heard Nintendo does not ban you if you use codes that will NOT give you an advantage over other players, and I was just using a debug stage and got banned unfortunatly :( Does anyone know a universal unban code for all Wifi games or no? I downloaded it. The changes I see are a few channel games that did not boot up correctly on 1.9.2 boot up now on 1.9.3. Also a lot of game discs do not have a second spin-up when loadingby ICEing - Homebrew Applications

Yea theres basically a list of videos when you open youtube, but it seems to load from a youtube account online as they have videos under "favorites" and "subscriptions" and its usually about homebrew and whatnot. :Oby ICEing - Homebrew Applications
