It's not as easy as you think to port games and applications. Also, if you request something to be done for you it won't happen. If you want something done, do it yourself.by Bomber - Homebrew General
Quotekydoawesome! thats amazing do you take computing classes?! are you in collage or something? If you're asking me, yes I take computer classes. Though I'm not in college, I'm in grade 11 :Pby Bomber - Getting Started
QuoteArikadoFor learning strictly C++; The book "C++ in 21 days" is definitely the best way to go. Since you already know VB, you should already have a good handle on how code (in general) works and how compiling works. It'll probably come easier to you than you think. Of course, once you know C++, you'll probably want to start displaying 2D images onscreen and making games and thatby Bomber - Getting Started
He has made over 7 topics now about this same thing. Like Kamek said, it will be released when it's ready to be released. I'd love for him to release it unfinished and brick your Wii.by Bomber - The Junkyard
Quotekezza825Will they be a WIISCU without using the internet? I downloaded it and put it on my SD card and ran it, then I noticed it said that I do not have the internet (not in them exact words). I would be very grateful if someone made one=D The whole reason why it has internet is so that you don't have to download a new version every time Nintendo updates the IOS. Quote0ld8oy... this forum is overrun with impatient noobs begging and groveling for inside information or some sort of release so they can "test" it. I'm sure that can be pretty annoying to the coders. Some of the comments on here remind me of the little kids you see at the store trying to make a scene so their mom will buy them a toy or candy bar or something... Patience is a virtue...by Bomber - Homebrew General

Quotelpeters82I didn't say it's a competition, plus no one important reads these forums anyway. Arikado, Bushing and others are very important to the scene, developing homebrew, exploits, and more.by Bomber - Homebrew General
QuoteatomixxOOOOHHHHH FFS its two weeks since the first vid's now COME ON!!!! ... It takes time to develop an exploit. You want to try, go right on ahead. I've been seeing a lot impatient people on here since I joined, which wasn't that long ago. It will be released, you just have to wait.by Bomber - Homebrew General
QuoteEvilMarioI got a Question(im new to this) But what game will the knew exploit be or will it be on the same game??? And will it be out before saturday It's not on a game (that I know of, it may be). Don't know when it'll be released, maybe today maybe next week. It'll come though. Quoteheadibomber ure the man :S i think you know more than us ...pls just one question. is it wrong to hope for a release today or tomorrow :( No, it's not wrong. And I know about as much as you guys do. I don't know when it's going to be released, I know for a fact that it's working, and I also know he's making it work for other System Menu versions. I'm pretty nby Bomber - Homebrew General
Everybody, calm, the fuck, down. It will come when it comes. Comex wouldn't trash his reputation just for some april fool's joke. He has it working on 3.2 system menu so far, and he's testing to make sure it works on 3.3+.by Bomber - Homebrew General
Quotedaniel_c_wQuoteBomberI'm guessing it should take around a month, depends on how many people help him out. Since the downlaod links for his testsoftware do not work anymore, I guess he is now busy analyzeing all the reports. Oh ok, I didn't notice that. Thanks for that, I guess it'll be sooner than I thought!by Bomber - Homebrew General
QuotePraxisHey Comex! No intention of rushing ya- do you have any guestimates on a time table here? I sent my Wii for a repair to Nintendo and they sent me a new one on 4.0. I'm simply debating whether to hold out or try to buy an older Wii. Should I wait, or should I go ahead and buy another Wii as this could take months and you have your own life? :) Thanks for all your help to thby Bomber - Homebrew General
Oh so it's still being worked on? Thanks for the quick reply, answered all my waiting questions :)by Bomber - Homebrew General
Three days ago I read about this new exploit that Comex found that will allow you to run unsigned code, which in turn will allow you to install the HBC on an unmodded Wii. A few questions; 1) Is it true? As it was released around April 1st, theres a lot of people saying it's fake. 2) Where is Comex? After him releasing a preview of the hack, there was no follow up on it. I, and I am sureby Bomber - Homebrew General
1. Not yet 2. Because you're spamming the fourm's with the same question, over and over, and you're still getting the same answer. Almost all 43 of your current posts are about this new exploit. I suggest you calm down.by Bomber - Homebrew General
What exactly are you trying to install on the Wii? And by what method?by Bomber - Getting Started
Couldn't have you moved your save files to the SD card then reformatted?by Bomber - Software
QuoteDrLuckyArikado knows a few... from what I know, programming shares a similar logic about them, once you get that (in VB6) then you just need to know the coding of C++ Hmmm, should be easier than I thought then. I'll ask him for some information.by Bomber - Getting Started
Awesome, thanks! Sucks I have to learn C or C++, already learning VB6 in school. Do you know of any tutorials I could follow, or any eBooks? Thanks.by Bomber - Getting Started
You could try WiiSCU. Don't know if or how it works, never used it.by Bomber - Homebrew General
I am very interested in the Wii scene. I would love to learn more about how the Wii works, how to code on the Wii, ect. What articles do you suggest reading or videos to watch? I believe I watched the 25C3 Wii Fail videos, where Team Twiizers did a demo of the inside workings of the Wii and such. Thanks in advanced.by Bomber - Getting Started
A little information would help, like; What System Menu version are you on? What version of the Twilight Hack are you using? What version of the disc are you using? What save slot are you using? For the dol file, did you have it on the root of the SD card and named 'boot.dol'?by Bomber - Getting Started
I'm pretty sure there's a way to downgrade, though it has to do with Waninko or whatever his name is. Wouldn't use his downgrader though. I remember seeing a thread here on how to downgrade but I can't find it now! Grrr. I'll post it when I find it. Go here to read how to downgrade 4.0. :)by Bomber - Homebrew General
Quotebg4545Yeah 'cause there's a second version of 3.3 that blocks some installations Yeah, I just saw an article about that last night. Trying to learn about the Wii now, seems very interesting.by Bomber - Homebrew General
Wow, I actually never thought of that. It worked, thanks!by Bomber - Homebrew General
I recently installed HBC through the Twilight hack. Yay! But, when I go to install DVDx through the HBC I get this; Quote Error -2011 installing DVD Stub ticket Error -2011 installing stub I'm running 3.3U System Menu. Any help or suggestions?
