its working well! I've found a good set of graphics to use, it is just tedious getting ALL the sprites set up right. You are correct Arikado, the 3D stuff is gonna be a bear, but the 2d stuff (for simple icon usage, display of miis, etc) is looking REALLY good. manipulation of the final 2d mii in a 2d world would be simple... but if you wanted head turning in the 3d plane that's gby mdbrim - Ideas, requests
do you have all the images from that / can you get them? I sent the creator of that an email to see if he would allow me permission to use his graphics in this project (with him getting credit of course). If he's not cool with it, i'll just use them as a template and have my graphic artist redo them all. I'm not up on all the decompiling flash tricks so if you got em/can getby mdbrim - Ideas, requests
not a bad idea Arikado... and it shouldn't be too hard. Just get a graphic with all the mii part sprites and then tile it up. I'll give it a go for GRRLIB. Gotta just find some good sprites now...by mdbrim - Ideas, requests
ok cool, that's what i thought / was hoping... thanks.by mdbrim - BootMii Beta
QuoteWiki entry on system 4.2Changes: Updates your boot2 to boot2v4, overwriting BootMii/boot2. Is this old information? I've seen this mentioned a couple of times in the forums... does updating to 4.2 remove your bootmii boot2?by mdbrim - BootMii Beta
yeah, he's just upset with some of the responses to posts he has in other topics...by mdbrim - Ideas, requests
So, a number of months back, i thought that i had checked to see if i could install bootmii as boot2 only to discover that i could only do it as IOS. I thought this was odd because i had a first gen wii and thought that the early wiis could all be done to boot2, but i moved on and just kinda skipped over this forum. ON A WHIM, i decided to "double check" this last weekend and turns out I CANby mdbrim - BootMii Beta
yeah man why don't you provide something to the community before you come in here and bash the work of those that do. And do a little homework to even know if your request is currently possible / plausible.by mdbrim - The Junkyard
you updated to 4.2 and nothing happened? that's normal.by mdbrim - Homebrew General
there are no patents in homebrew... most of it is open source so there really isn't any need to get a patent for it. plus that would be $$$.by mdbrim - Coding
make sense jbc007?by mdbrim - FixMii
no If all you are doing is legal homebrew and making your own stuff, i wouldn't worry about installing it. unless you want the feature of booting straight to the hbc, i wouldn't bother. I know all the other posts here say do it, but like you said, if you are just doing emulators and legal homebrew, bricking isn't worth worrying about.by mdbrim - Getting Started
excellent! i look forward to seeing your work. I love anything stat related and plan on having similar tracking in some of my games. an excellent idea for slots too. I haven't even thought of that. IF i were to do slots (which i probably won't be able to) they wouldn't be anywhere near that in depth (i would be that random number flash a picture guy)... i look forward to sby mdbrim - Offtopic
no, but they'll see that the Wii was modded and refuse to fix it.by mdbrim - FixMii
I got this one. It may be a little pricier than the wired ones but this one is wireless, small as heck, is white with blue backlight (so it looks like it matches / goes with the wii) Plus it stores nicely tucked away with all the wii stuff (not a big bulky keyboard) If you plan on doing word processing (real typing) with it, you might want a full sized one... but this one is good for keyby mdbrim - Homebrew Applications
assuming you are a windows user... go to start --> run type in cmd and hit enter a command prompt window will show up go to the directory you just unzipped c:\blah blah blah blah\desktop\grrlib 4.2.0\grrlib\grrlib\lib\png then type: make install and hit enter. let me know if that makes sense / works. I'd be happy to help more.by mdbrim - Coding

um, if you follow the README... that's all you need. I'm assuming you have devkit pro installed with no problems? if that is the case all you have to do is follow the GRRLIB readme... it's pretty darn simple. download grrlib 4.2.0.zip extract follow readme: *1 The version of libjpeg supplied with GRRLIB v4.2.0 contains bug fixes not available in the official releaby mdbrim - Coding
OHiiO Slots... i like that! I had actually thought of doing CasWiiNo, but like Crisco said, it's kinda getting crazy out there so i went with Casiino. (even though that still violates the ii rule) Crisco: what would you call it then? i'll admit that when it comes to creative titles... i'm lazy and like the cop out of the ii theme! dcpyatt: I would be curious to see how yoby mdbrim - Offtopic
Cool, i just finished part one of my Casiino project today... Blackjack (wiidoubledown) 2.0 will finally be out by Tuesday (been updating with all new graphics and options for about 6 months now), and i'm adding Craps next. Welcome to the forums!by mdbrim - Offtopic
GRRLIB is a good place to start... it's got some very simple features to get you started, and as you progress, it is also very powerful and allows you to do all the advanced stuff too. actually libwiisprite, GRRLIB, or libwiigui, any of them will work. You can pretty much do everything with all three libraries (some are more geared towards certain aspects, but they all can do everythinby mdbrim - Coding

I would download and install the latest HBC and then upgrade to 4.2 that way you won't have to redo any hack (banner bomb) and you'll be up to dateby mdbrim - Homebrew General
