What this all boils down to is that we write the wiki so people don't have to ask questions. All questions can be answered by reading the wiki. If something is unclear, or not straightforward, or you want confirmation that you are doing/understanding something correctly; then in that case the forum becomes the premier place to go to. In these cases, everyone is more than happy to help you.by Arikado - Getting Started
The update is perfectly safe. It just wants to update your boot2. You will have to reinstall bootmii boot2 afterward.by Arikado - Getting Started

I'm sorry; I simply don't understand why someone would install something if they don't know what it is. Furthermore, you clearly refuse to read the link I gave you because you obviously don't care about what you're doing to your $250 (USD) Wii. Because I'm a nice guy and I want you to care, I'll give you the gist of it: DVDX is a hidden channel. It does noby Arikado - Getting Started
Something about sd:/apps/uae/boot.dol is wrong. Make sure boot.dol is all lowercase. And make sure you didn't accidentally name it boot.dol.dol And make sure there is not a boot.elf or a second boot.dol file present in sd:/apps/uaeby Arikado - Homebrew Applications

QuotehuntermQuoteArikadoNo problem! Sorry it took so long to finish, development was (surprisingly) quite a bit of coding hell. What made it so hard? It seemed like you could have used the IOS selector in DOP-Mii for SGM Mod... Waninkoko used the patched modules available exclusively in his cIOS to do everything. So I had to find creative solutions that any IOS could replicate. Furthermore, Wanby Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Well, like I said, I don't blame you at all for asking this. In fact, my third post on this forum was a demanding little rant to get the Wii64 team to hurry the mother, erm, ... trucker up and get their emulator working at full speed. To be perfectly honest, I didn't find your posts to have a demanding tone. However, I thought I may have detected an air of urgency to them so I apoloby Arikado - Getting Started

Your request may be on the top of the fanboy "Wish List" but it appears to me as something rather trivial to the emulator developers at this point int time. Their primary focus should be getting the emulation as close to perfect as possible and adding in as much as possible to make the emulation experience enjoyable. Where would be on without cheat codes and solid input controls? And how much woby Arikado - Getting Started

Install IOS 30 v1040 with my Dop-IOS MOD ( ) WITHOUT any patches. Then reinstall the homebrew channel.by Arikado - Homebrew General
Really? When did you use it? Because Dop-IOS MOD and WiiSCU had this same problem when Nintendo did a mini update (shortly after 4.2) to the shop channel. I fixed it rather easily in Dop-IOS MOD but its my understanding that WiiSCU still has the bug that Dop-IOS MOD once did as WiiSCU was never updated to compensate. At the time I tested both applications thoroughly to identify and then work to rby Arikado - Getting Started
Quotecactusjack901Its perfectly safe to use the new shop channel, you just have to update the channel with WiiSCU or something GGGGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM GONNA FREAKKKKKKK!!!!! lol. But seriously. WiiSCU does NOT update the shop channel correctly (it handles the IOS right but gives you an outdated version of the channel).by Arikado - Getting Started
There are tons of different paths you could take to do this, I won't bother listing any of them at this point in time. Do you have a more specific or preferred route to take to reach your goal?by Arikado - Coding
