QuoteBowserkoopaEspecially because C isn't a object-orientated programming languag like C++ . You know you can code for Wii homebrew in C++ right? IIRC MLIB has classes?by Arikado - Coding
QuoteWaxyPumpkin72Have you happened to take a look at this stuff, Arikado? ... I do not have an hour to waste figuring out how to plug it in and then make it cooperate with the forum atm - schoolwork first, sorry. Btw, remind me again why we need subforums?by Arikado - Feedback & Support
QuotescimiDO NOT UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM MENU THROUGH NINTENDO. WAXY PUMPKIN DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT.....DO NOT DO IT. Actually, you have no idea about what you are saying. Tell it to this guy, maybe he'll listen:by Arikado - Homebrew General
Obviously you cant get any info on it because there's no such thing as 4.3 xDby Arikado - Getting Started
Dude, I cant tell you exactly what happened as I cant get a clear picture from your posts. I would assume it is not DOP-Mii but installing themes that bricked your Wii though.by Arikado - Getting Started
Both problems can be solved by using current versions of the respective software and not outdated ones.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Wow, you definitely didn't need to ctrl-c, ctrl-v an entire topic there. If you can't tell me in your own words what happened, then that leads me to believe you dont even understand what you did. In that case, I really don't think I can help you lacking real information on what really happened, sorry.by Arikado - Getting Started
If you can find the appropriate phorum module to plug in, I wouldn't mind messing around.by Arikado - Feedback & Support
Explain what state your Wii was in that you're calling it a "brick". Also, again, explain exactly what happened step by step. Looks to me like you installed a system menu without installing the IOS it needs to run first.by Arikado - Getting Started
You absolutely fail here by unnecessarily breaking the rules. Doing so again will get you banned.by Arikado - Getting Started
The collision function just tells you if two sprites are touching each other. You'd need to write a custom collision detection method for landing on a platform for true precision. If you want to do some simple porting work, I wrote libwiisprite one's for my Hauntiing platformer game that you're welcome to borrow here: Just be sure to play it before you steal stuff from the code toby Arikado - Coding
You images have to have dimensions which are a multiple of four. Otherwise they will not display. I am guessing that this is your issue.by Arikado - Coding
QuoteBowserkoopaHow can I make some sprites solid because I try to make a game, and it's a little bit strange when Mario would fall through the bottom^^ There's also a second quesion: How I can I make, that there's a gravity? And at last the third question: How can I make, that the screen scrolls? Dude, it's not even close to being that simple. Since you seem to know C/C++ yby Arikado - Coding
It's in the SDK things are built with, which is why newer games and newer menus have it and older one's don't.by Arikado - Ideas, requests
In essence you're a really dedicated troll. You're throwing inane amounts of information you can't even comprehend trying to make something impossible look at least improbable. Please go away kthnx.by Arikado - The Junkyard
Your emulator saves games for you to your SD Card (or USB Device if you have one plugged in and have the settings set to save to it).by Arikado - Getting Started
Well essentially, you can accomplish that via something like For the feature to be added to the forum I'd need to plugin a phorum module with the functionality. There's probably one somewhere out there that can do it ...by Arikado - Feedback & Support

Kickass music and an even sweeter roller coaster. Great job dude!by Arikado - Offtopic
This topic reeks of lulz, sorry. Anyways, check out my WIP: We just restarted the project from scratch 4 days ago, and we're two files away from finishing a port of the core of the latest official release of DeSmuME. Hopefully this time around things will work out and we'll have something emulating (albeit probably very slowly) within several weeks at most.by Arikado - Ideas, requests
And I know I'm being redundant, but you're sure you're hitting the power and not the reset button right?by Arikado - BootMii Beta
What version of bootmii? Are you sure you're not hitting the power button twice? And if you're using the buttons on the front of the Wii, are you sure you're not hitting the reset button? Have you tried both powering off with the wiimote and the power button on the front of the Wii?by Arikado - BootMii Beta
Yes it is a boot2 replacement. And the boot2 update replaces the bootmii replacement. So you then have to replace boot2 again with bootmii.by Arikado - Getting Started
This happens every time after you're done with a gamecube game?by Arikado - BootMii Beta
