I think the other issue is that he may be using Preloader rather than Priiloader, and that, combined with the use of an SDHC card, instead of an SD card could be causing issues.by cactusjack901 - FixMii

Update #1: I've got a basic idea of how C++ in and of itself works. I don't know if it's the sleep deprivation or how much I'm trying to learn at the moment, but I'm not quite grasping floating point variables. I'll get the hang of it soon though, I think.by cactusjack901 - Offtopic

So, I've finally decided to sit down and start learning C++. Half of it is because I've always had an interest in coding for a large part of my life, and half because I wanna finally contribute to this Wii scene I love so much. Alright, I just wanted to make sure we can support you here. That being said, it seems we can. It's not the 4.2 update that killed your drive, as it is bad timing, older Wii DVD drives are known to go south after a while. Your only real option is to send it in to Nintendo or get a new drive and replace it yourself. Problem is, if you send it to Nintendo, they'll give you a new driby cactusjack901 - Getting Started
