Sudden "System Files Are Corrupted" - 14 years ago
So, I decide to play some Bit.Trip Runner today, and turn on my Wii, only to find that my Wii keeps spitting out a "System Files Are Corrupted" error. I've tried re-installing the system menu, tried re-installing IOS70 (I'm on 4.2), still getting the error. Tried removing all channels I had made that could've potentially had a bad banner. Still nothing, I'm backing up my NAby cactusjack901 - FixMii

(sorry for the double post, but my original post isn't here so if a mod could help I'd be grateful) You can't distribute WADs here, no matter what the nature is. for something like this, it has to be gained via NUSD EDIT: I would also like to note the illegal music in the RAR (in WMA no less D= )by cactusjack901 - FixMii

just install it. As long as you don't have anything not-supported here, you'll be fine, and even then, I don't know. My brother was wondering the same thing, but I told him to just update, and he did fine, I'm actually watching him play now. Well, let's do a bit of reasoning and logic here. If you use DOSBox to install Windows 3.1, it would then have to write files to the SD card. If files are written to the SD card, that means they're there, which would then mean you have it installed on your SD card and don't have to install it every time.by cactusjack901 - Ideas, requests

No, probably some sort of theme issue, may have been on the WAD you used to install the system menu again. Just get a new one from NUS and install that. Unless the middle finger is on the homebrew channel, that happens when you use a WAD to install itby cactusjack901 - Getting Started

To elaborate on what SifJar said, cIOSCorp/DarkCorp works on the principal that to load a backup, you need a cIOS, so if every IOS is a cIOS, you can load backups through the system menu. Good in theory, and it could even be good in practice, however, there are some key flaws with it. First off: not every IOS needs the Trucha bug, whether it's a cIOS or not shouldn't matter, for Wanby cactusjack901 - BootMii Beta

try updating all versions of IOS to the latest. Usually this error is caused by every IOS having the trucha bug, which usually means you downgraded (why would you do that, no offense, but it's the source of a lot of problems), or you installed cIOScrap That being said, the 4.2 update removes bootmii as boot2, and Preloader moves the system menu, and inserts itself in it's place, soby cactusjack901 - The Junkyard
