Nintendo hasn't pushed out any new updates lately. Does this mean they have given up trying to block homebrew? or does it mean they are pushing out a huge update that will block and delete any and all hacks?by Marth21 - Offtopic

Hello! I haven't posted in a while. I have coded and coded but still nothing! After months of trying to do this, i lost what i thought would work and i can't recreate it. Hello! I was thinking of new ideas for apps when.. BAM!!! I got the greatest idea. Marble blast wii! Marble blaster is a really cool computer game and i thought i would port it to the wii. I ran the Marble blaster.exe and some other files through DOLtool and got a real, professional looking app. I went to homebrew and pressed the app to run it and what do i get? Nothing! If you have a region swiched korean wii, then don't update. If you don't have a korean wii, then you are safe tu update. Just make sure you update the homebrew channel first.by Marth21 - Getting Started

A brick is not a dvd or game or program. A brick is when the wii loses operability an is unable to boot the system menu. You try not to brick your wii. A wii gets bricked in many ways like when you use a downgrader and lose power. Or if you are patching the system menu and lose power. Summary: a wii brick is no fun. You just gotta reinstall the latest version of homebrew. There is no internal IOS that homebrew is saved to. It's just a channel like any other. It is saved to the system menu, no more, no less.by Marth21 - Getting Started

Also make sure that your apps folder isn't named Apps, APPS,AppS,etc. It is case sensitive and the folder can only be named apps.by Marth21 - Getting Started
