I'd assume that since VBAGX is based of the VBA emulator, that the saves would be compatable, but I'm just guessing.by g_man - Homebrew Applications
Does the template example compile? It should be located in devkit/examples/wii/template (something like that). If this complies, the look at the makefile in that directory and change the line: LIBS := -logc -lanotherlibrary -lnextfile If there is no -lz in this list then add it at the end, then compile the template again. If it doesn't compile then try reinstalling devkitPRO.by g_man - Coding

Quotejoshthesavage cmon im sure theres a simple answer that takes 2 seconds to respond pleaseFirst of all, making posts like this will not encourage anybody to answer your question, it is just being rude. Please don't do this again. But onto your answer, all you have to do is run the hackmii installer from the Homebrew Channel, and then istall bootmii from there. If you need help runningby g_man - Getting Started
You can check out a list of all the exploits here I think the only one that won't ask you to update is the Twilight Hack. All the other ones will ask you to update. If you are fine with updating this isn't a problem, but if you want to stay at 1.0 then use the Twilight Hack.by g_man - Getting Started
you could just save all of the pages locally on your computer. All you have to do is on each page right click and select save page as...(may be different on your browser, I'm using firefox). Give each page a reasonable name, such as week2day5 for example. then you can look at them from your computer without having to be online. good luck.by g_man - Offtopic

QuotetechnomanHas anyone talked to the Project 64 team about porting to the Wii. It would be way better than that stupid Wii64 done by mupen. A large amount of games would be compatible and it wouldn't ******* freeze up every time!I have a question for you. Have you ever tried porting an emulator before? It is a ton of work, and the wii64 team has spent hundreds of hours working on getting eby g_man - Ideas, requests
There are a few problems with your idea. 1. The way MSN messenger handles messages is most likely not known(I could be wrong though). This would mean that the way they send messages, and most likely some encyption would have to be reverse engineered. This is a lot of work for a little outcome. 2. The webcam from that game also doesn't work in homebrew, so that would also have to be figuredby g_man - Ideas, requests
Like bg4545 said, installing homebrew won't brick your wii, and neither will any of the apps on wiibrew will(with the exception of a few, but they are clearly marked, and as long as you don't do anything stupid with them you'll be fine). On the other hand, there are apps such as downgraders, wad installer, usb loaders and other apps not on wiibrew or the homebrew browser that are fby g_man - Getting Started

When I get time I think I'll pick through the source and try to get it to work. It'll probably be good for me to look and see how the video worked on a lower level. But don't make 0,0 the center of the screen. I've debugged my graphics enough times :)by g_man - Coding
Libogc is a set of tools(libraries) that are used to program the wii. If you want to learn how to code for the wii you don't need to know too much about how it works. If you have never coded before learn c on your computer first, then move to the wii. If you already know c then go to codemii.com and there are a few tutorials there about wii programming.by g_man - Coding
that would depend on the rest of your code. If you are just reading and dumping what is at the location returned then it won't dump(I don't think), but that shouldn't matter, because you should check to see if your function returns null, and if it does you should try to fix the problem, and not try to go on with the program :)by g_man - Coding
Here's your problem, what happens if *++p is not equal to find[1]. You increment k, then you check the same area of memory again in your memchr() function. Also, memchr is not the best function to use here. Try using memcmp. You can find the both characters in one function this way, instead or relying on some pointer magic. Try something like this: char *p = buf; while(k < bytes_read)by g_man - Coding
The homebrew channel is included in the Hackmii installer, there is no seperate download. What problems are you having with the Hackmii installer, maybe we can help. I don't know about Starpatch, but I know that you can play out of region games with an app called Gecko OS.by g_man - Getting Started
It's possible(I think), but it isn't feasable. You would have to do a lot of messing around with their code to get gamecube controller support, more than anybody is willing to do. You can set an autoboot for bootmii so that it automatically starts the wiimenu. Look for an app called Bootmii configuration editor, it can do just this.by g_man - Homebrew General
you could send it to nintendo and they will fix it for you.by g_man - Getting Started
Unless you have a reason to stay at version 3.4 you could just install the latest version of the HBC then you could do a normal update.by g_man - Getting Started
Installing Priiloader will not brick her wii. The only difference between LU64+ wii's is that they cannot install bootmii as boot2, and some newer ones cannot play DVD's.by g_man - Homebrew General
QuoteSifJarAlso, if you can find a copy of Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Wheel Breaker (I think thats the title), that'll do the job as well, although it'll be a worse game, so you probably won't want to keep it afterwards. PAL copy again is needed.Tf you don't want to buy the game you can just rent it. You only need it for a couple of minutes.by g_man - Homebrew General

the only problem with upgrading to 4.3 is that you won't be able to use the bannerbomb or twilight princess exploits. If you are planning on using either indiana pwns, or smash stack, then it is fine to use the online upgrade. Again, if you want to use bannerbomb, then you'll have to update with an earlier game disk. Don't worrie, bootmii isn't affected by your system menu vby g_man - Getting Started
You don't have to own the game, infact you only need it for a couple of minutes. Just go to the store and rent Twilight Princess, or you can rent Lego Indiana Jones and upgrade so that you can use the Indiana Pwns exploit. Also, if you are in the US, you can use Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When you use the Hackmii installer, there is a program called bootmii. since your wii has version 2.2 Iby g_man - Getting Started
make sure you install devkitPRO. you can find the full windows installer here. In the installer make sure you select to install devkitPPC. try formatting your SD card, and make sure your files are in the correct locations. Also if it isn't the same SD card as before it may be incompatable with the hack. If you format your card, make sure it is either FAT 16 or FAT 32, I forget which one.by g_man - Homebrew General
