Depends on what you call 'simple'. But if you are looking for a way to display a webpage like a browser does. Then, no. Rendering webpages is far from simple. Just look at the codebase of firefox ;-) If you just want to get information from a page, then my http class should do. It doesn't do everything for you, but it's not that complex.by Daid - Coding

Is the harddisk powered by the USB port or does it use separate power? I've seen USB powered harddisks 'restart' because they couldn't drawn enough power from USB. Using an powered HUB might help (but not sure if HUBs are supported)by Daid - Homebrew General

To 'crack' RSA you only need the public key (which we have), which is the product of 2 prime numbers. You 'just' need to find those prime numbers. RSA-100 has 330 bits (so it's really a RSA-330) and: "It takes four hours to repeat this factorization using the program Msieve on a 2200 MHz Athlon 64 processor." RSA-640 has 640 bits and: "The computation took 5by Daid - Offtopic
WPAD_GetStatus() returns the initialization status of the library. But not for each wiimote. So it won't help you. WPAD_Probe(s32 chan,u32 *type) returns WPAD_ERR_NO_CONTROLLER when there is no controller connected to that channel. WPAD_ERR_NONE when there is a controller connected. And WPAD_ERR_NOT_READY when the extension controller is still initiating. If you give in a none NULL vaby Daid - Coding
QuoteprofetylenQuoteDaid profetylen is heading the right way. But also fails at the C syntax. Chars are single quotes, not double. And you lack the NUL terminator. Woops, by "\n" I meant "\0" or '\0' actually. Thanks for telling me that chars are single quotes! However, what's the difference between "H" and 'H' then? My guess is that "H" includes the null terminator. Amby Daid - Offtopic
Hi there, Quality music can be hard to find, and I just listened to your samples and I like them =D Mind if I use your "Ominous Orchestral" sample as early developer stage music? We are currently in the planning phase of a game, figuring out artwork, style and details of gameplay. And I think this sample will do nicely for the music style. I'm going to release more details of this gby Daid - Ideas, requests
I might, with a group of people. We have a pretty good idea for a game, and started on some of the artwork. But we need to work out a ton of stuff before we are ready. So we might not make the deadline.by Daid - Homebrew General
You might want to take a look at which can not only handle collision detection, but also physic simulation if you want.by Daid - Coding
You could also take a look at the http.c/h files from GoF: Which tries to mimic a real browser as much as possible. It supports GET/POST, Cookies, content-lenght as well as chunked encoding. Main problem with it right now that it doesn't support timeouts. Which could be a bad thing depending on your application.by Daid - Coding
Looks like you're using x/z like yaw/pitch? That will never work right, even if you solve most problems you'll still run into Gimbal lock at some point: And you'll create lots of hard math. One way to solve this is with quaternions. Which is some heavy duty math if you google it. But it's not that hard to use, once you have the code ;) You can use the following classes Iby Daid - Coding
This topic makes me sad. There is not a SINGLE right post here. Arikado has a good C++ solution, but his comment about linked lists after that ruined it. SifJar fails at basic C syntax. 'string' is not a C type. Nor does putting some variable after each other make them magically work. chris uses the default C library, but wrong. And doesn't mention a lot of important thingby Daid - Offtopic
These crashed are usually called "DSI" or "Exception DSI". It's just a general crash, much like the "windows has detected a problem in X and it needs to close" It's no problem with your Wii. 90% of the time it's just a bug in the software you are using. Not all homebrew is a 100% stable. But there also might be a problem with your SD card. You could put it in a windows PC, andby Daid - Homebrew General
The reason why you are not getting much help with this is because you are trying to do something which isn't easy. Almost everyone uses the WPAD library, which doesn't expose the IDs in any way. So your best bet would be to change the WPAD library, which isn't an easy task for someone just starting with programming.by Daid - Coding
QuotedataloggerWhen my friends come to visit and bring their wiimotes, I want to have a Homebrew app that I can start and it will show the serial number unique to each wiimote so I can write that down and know who has what remote number. QuoteWikiFSXIf you are doing clinic monitoring, there is no reason to use Wii Fit's data. Good call.Indeed. And you asked a very dangerous question to the wrong people. You asked: "Is X possible?" to a bunch of techs. And, everything is possible. But the amount of effort required and quality of the result are not something that techs consider when you come with an "is possible" questioby Daid - Ideas, requests
Great to hear that you got it working. If you are 100% happy with it, would you mind passing me the files? Then I could include it in the next release :D if you want of course.by Daid - Ideas, requests

This might do the trick: -Draw your scene -Copy it to an texture (T1) -Draw the texture T1 to the screen, but with a smaller size (64x64) -Copy the 64x64 to a different texture T2 -Draw T1 back to the screen, fullsize -Draw T2 on top of it with the blending/contrast you need for it. it's not bootmiiboot.gz it's bootmiiboot.tgz. Whatever you are using to download (I guess IE, because IE is GREAT as screwing this up) is not saving the right file extension. Try renaming the file to bootmiiboot.tar.gz before extracting. Or, on Solaris, try "tar -xzf bootmiiboot.tgz"by Daid - BootMii Beta

My first bet would be that you don't get the pixel output format that you are expecting. You might get 24bpp while you expect 32bpp or even 8bit. I've toyed with libjpeg a while back I this was causing problems for me I remember. And it depends on the input what kind of output you get.by Daid - Coding
