Oh no, not another one... You need to put some apps on your HBC. Visit here to get some: List Of Homebrew Apps May I ask what you were expecting to find once the installation of the HBC was complete?by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
QuoteModEverythingI see. Maybe I'll just have to pay Microsoft to get the source code? lol. It was worth a shot though. How hard would it be to make a clone of these games? They're not very advanced. Hell if people can make Quake ports for the wii then surely they can for this too. No offense, but... What makes you think thats true? Do you have any experience in coding?by WaxyPumpkin72 - Ideas, requests

If it can't receive the list, I would assume that it means you're aren't connected to the internet. Have you set up WiiConnect24?by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
You need to use Dop-Mii to install the fakesigning bug to IOS36. Once you do that, I believe channel loading will work correctly.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started

QuotewiiwiimanQuoteWaxyPumpkin72There is no installer.elf. Drag the boot.elf file to the root of your SD card, and then launch your exploit (Bannerbomb, Indiana Pwns, etc.). what exactly is the root of the SD card? When you click on the SD card in my computer, you will be taken to the root of the SD card (assuming you're using windows).by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started

You will definitely need to re-install bootmii. Your version is way outdated. I believe updating via the Hackmii Installer will fix the issue you are having.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
It would seem to me that you know exactly what you're doing. After reading through the steps you set up, I'm pretty sure that everything is correct. Just follow through with either procedure. I would suggest using the 2nd method you made (the one without the HBC), because considering you'll be getting your new wii soon, it would be pointless to install the HBC. Quotesmartinez281Ok, If I do the Smash Stack...it just installs the homebrew channel on the wii and sd card? Long story short, I am modding this wii for a friend, my personal wii has been modded a while back by me, and she does not own SSBB but I do.Does she need the actuall game to play homebrew for now on? No, you only need to use the disc once, to install the HBC to your wii.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Glad I could help. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! :)by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Just navigate to the wii settings and update your wii via WiFi. You didn't need to delete the HBC first, you could have just left it there. However, since you already deleted it, once you finish updating the wii, re-install the HBC.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Yes, you should do it through Nintendo.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started

Actually, it is possible, because its been done already without the use of a disk, but I can't give a link to the site because it supports piracy. But yes, it can easily be done without a disk.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Offtopic
