You need to use Dop-Mii to install the fakesigning bug to IOS36. Once you do that, I believe channel loading will work correctly.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started

It would seem to me that you know exactly what you're doing. After reading through the steps you set up, I'm pretty sure that everything is correct. Just follow through with either procedure. I would suggest using the 2nd method you made (the one without the HBC), because considering you'll be getting your new wii soon, it would be pointless to install the HBC. Just navigate to the wii settings and update your wii via WiFi. You didn't need to delete the HBC first, you could have just left it there. However, since you already deleted it, once you finish updating the wii, re-install the HBC.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
