If not, with your permission, I'd be willing to do it for you. Not yet, I'd want to clean it up and add a real calibration.by agoaj - Homebrew General
QuotefunkamaticPeople keep telling me that all you have to do is recompile them. I would be glad to do this. I downloaded Devkitpro and tried reading a tutorial. I keep getting the "no such file or directory" error. Also, can I even open gecko os source with devkitpro? You'll need to download the source If you open the makefile in programmers notepad and press alt-1 it should compby agoaj - Homebrew General
It looks like this is what you'd want to port As Adobe doesn't release their source for free.by agoaj - Ideas, requests

If anything it would decrease performance. You have to have the disc in the console, but it loads the game from the USB. That's how the 360 handles game installs to stop you from renting games and just burning them.by agoaj - Offtopic
You know, if he made it only load the backup of the game that was in the disc drive, it would work just like the 360, no worry about piracy. I wish he would release it that way.by agoaj - Offtopic
The latest version is 1.1 or 1.01, as long as you have that you're golden.by agoaj - Homebrew General

You're stuck until a new installer comes out to work with 4.0, then updates should work.by agoaj - Homebrew General

1- Nope. 2- Modifying MIOS(gamecube Input Output system) on Starlet, or maybe making a virtual gamecube on the Broadway. 3- With a lot of work, yes. It's not easy though.by agoaj - Homebrew General
To get the picture back, you'll want to check the display settings and see if you can do NTSC or maybe PAL60. Since you've switched the region to PAL, you should be able to boot up a European version of Twilight Princess to reinstall the Homebrew channel and try changing your region again. That'll probably cost about 40-50 bucks, but you'll be able to get your Wii back to norby agoaj - Getting Started
I think we could really benefit from full documentation for libogc. Especially the gx functions. This is all that's been put together on that so farby agoaj - Homebrew General

ir.sx-200, ir.sy-250 That should give you good values. There is also a way to set the ir range with unsigned int vres[2]; int offset[2]; so you could do int vres[2]; vres[0] = 640; vres[1] = 480; ir.vres =vres; And adjust offset the same way.by agoaj - Coding
This is the timer class I use. #include ogc/lwp_watchdog.h> class Timer{ double Then; Timer::Timer() { Then = ticks_to_millisecs(gettime()) / 1000.0; } double Timer::TimePassed() { double diff = ticks_to_millisecs(gettime())/ 1000.0 - Then; Then = ticks_to_millisecs(gettime())/ 1000.0; return diff; } }; It will tell you the difference in time since the last timeby agoaj - Coding
A great thread on threads If you're not familiar with threading, I suggest trying it out in windows first to get the basics. There is no beep function in libogc. For playing simple notes there is sndlib but it's a bit of a hassle to set up(Once you've got it working through it makes sound pretty easy).by agoaj - Coding
I tried compiling your code and it works for me. Try running my compilation and see if it works. If it does then your problem is with your devkit installation.by agoaj - Coding
If you aren't able to reinstall the HBC, make sure you're using the latest version of the Twilight Hack, the latest version will be deleted after doing when the system reboots, but if you go directly to Zelda it will work. Next, we'll need to know what apps you've tried and what you mean when you say they won't work.by agoaj - Getting Started
I made some more changes but I don't know if it will work outside of NTSC 480P widescreen. I'm still interested to know how it works for your app, and if it filled the screen more or if anything got cut off. Please include your resolution and widescreen settings in your post. Rename the file libwiisprite.a and put it in your lib/wii folder of libogc. The changes are gamewindow.cpby agoaj - Testing Corner
If you use libwiisprite, could you try compiling your game with this version of the library? It should work as a widescreen fix, but I think there may be a problem where it adds V-space. I'd like to know how it works on your apps. Even if you are only using standard 4:3 I'd like to know if it affects anything. The changes are gamewindow.cpp void GameWindow::InitVideo(){ /by agoaj - Testing Corner
I guess a more accurate way of saying would be that I want to emulate MIOS on the Broadway instead of messing around with Starlet. That's what I've been wondering, is the broadway fast enough to run the GC code as well as the MIOS emulator. That way we can use the advantages of IOS without having to mess with system stability and actually changing MIOS.by agoaj - Software
I have DVDx and Mplayer with no ill effects on Wii fit with 3.3U. No downgrade or CIOS though.by agoaj - Homebrew General
There's a bug in the 0.3.0b release of libwiisprite's layermanager. I'm sharing it here because it's been frustrating me for days. void LayerManager::Remove(Layer* layer){ if(layer == NULL)return; bool shift = false; for(u32 i = 0; i < _size; i++){ // Layer found and shifting everything forby agoaj - Coding
Formatting the Wii memory does not undo any firmware upgrades. You would still have 3.X that you have now. Most installers will not work as they used an exploit that has been patched out in 3.3 .by agoaj - Homebrew General
Nintendo will be releasing something like this in January or so, hopefully they'll be a way to download that update and not the others.by agoaj - The Junkyard
Because it's there! Plus this could lead to translations of other Wii games that won't be coming over, like Captain Rainbow. I too want to see where you get on this. So consider this a bump of interest.by agoaj - Homebrew General
