It sounds like you do indeed have BootMii installed as boot2. Get the armboot.bin and ppcboot.elf files and put them in a "bootmii" folder at the root of your SD card. Then insert your SD card into your Wii and see if it boots BootMii. If you have access to a working Wii, then you can get those files by running the HackMii Installer and selecting "Prepare SD card." If not, then maybe someone herby winmaster - FixMii

QuoteTantricYou mean vbagx\roms not apps\vbagx\roms In my personal experience they both have to exist in order for the app not to complain upon startup.by winmaster - Homebrew Applications
Those errors indicate a problem with the Wii connecting to NUS. If you have never installed Priiloader, StarPatch, or any fail updaters, then it is likely a problem with your Internet connection. Does the Internet connection test work?by winmaster - FixMii
You need to have the following directories on your SD card: root:\\apps\vbagx (contains program) root:\\apps\vbagx\roms (contains roms) root:\\vbagx\saves (contains saves) I'm not sure why the app demands that the folders be arranged like this.by winmaster - Homebrew Applications
Shoot, at some point you replaced IOS 249 with an official version. I'll PM you further instructions.by winmaster - FixMii
No, Priiloader is removed using its own installer/uninstaller. Any Title Deleter cannot remove Priiloader. Its no more unsafe to remove Priiloader than it was to install it in the first place, and that's pretty safe. Updating has a very low chance of bricking your Wii provided the power doesn't go out during the process.by winmaster - FixMii
While in the Homebrew Channel, press the home button on the Wiimote. I believe the IOS is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. Sometimes you have to completely uninstall Priiloader to reenable updating.by winmaster - FixMii
Ah, that makes sense.by winmaster - Ideas, requests
Updating should not affect Dop-Mii, we need to know what IOS the Homebrew Channel is running on to help you with that. And again, USB loaders are not supported or condoned here. I do not believe updating will remove priiloader.by winmaster - FixMii
Quotebg4545I'm pretty sure Tantric said he won't add anything like this to his emulator, but maybe someone else could. Don't all of his other emulators have cheat support?by winmaster - Ideas, requests
Go ahead and try the update. All of your official IOSes are now unpatched.by winmaster - FixMii
This is awesome. I wonder who registered that domain.by winmaster - Offtopic
Good. You now have the latest Homebrew Channel and BootMii IOS (the latest HackMii Installer automatically installs BootMii as an IOS upon startup because it depends on it to run.) If the installer said "BootMii Can be Installed), then click on that to go to the BootMii menu to install BootMii as boot2. You will then have two copies of BootMii on your Wii, this is normal and desired. If it saysby winmaster - FixMii
I"d hold off on updating for now, as a whole bunch of IOSes are patched on your Wii. The important patched ones are 80, 70, 60, 50, 30, and 36. IOSes 202, 236, 250, 249, 223, 222, and 16 are also patched, but they have never been used to run official software (with one irreverent exception) so that is not important right now. I recommend that you first remove IOSes 70 and 80 with Dop-Mii. Thenby winmaster - FixMii
The best way I know of to check for patched IOSes is to run the HackMii Installer and look at the log file. The HackMii Installer can be found here: bootmii.org On your SD card, create a folder called apps if it does not already exist. Then create a folder called hackmii inside of there. Put boot.dol from the hackmii installer download into that folder. Run the hackmii installer with tby winmaster - FixMii
I think if you call Customer Service they can transfer your Wii Shop account to your new Wii. There is a thread here that discusses it:by winmaster - Getting Started
DarkCorp (I call it Darkcrap) is an application the video told you to run. This application patches every IOS on the Wii, which is very dangerous. Yes, if you follow jbc007's instructions, you can safely update, though it is unnecessary.by winmaster - FixMii
I'm not sure if it is safe to run the official update after installing Darkcrap. Do as jbc007 said to fully remove it from your Wii. You can then run the official update if you so choose. Also, everything you listed is either fail or unnecessary, so you should delete all of it. Actually, if you just reformatted your SD card again it should be easy to replace all of the files on it.by winmaster - FixMii
I believe you could update to 4.3 using the official method, though I'm not sure if the darkcrap you installed will affect this. However, since 4.1 is the best system menu to be on, you might as well stay there. Download Dop-Mii: I believe you can uninstall IOS 70 with it. Otherwise, just about everything in the "Hack Pack" is useless or probably outdated. I recommend you delete eveby winmaster - FixMii
The best thing you can do right now to prevent a brick is to uninstall IOS 70. Some of the applications in the guide you followed are fail and will likely result in problems down the road, but you can address them as they occur.by winmaster - FixMii
QuoteMagilAll of Tantric's latest versions of his apps are prone to crash if your Wii is not connected to the internet. Even WiiMC (but this one seems to crash with alot less frequency). It's all because of IOS58... God, how I hate IOS58. Yes, you heard me well. I said I HATE IOS58. There. Hmph. Just look at Priiloader v0.5 and it's amazing brickin' power. Since you already downgraded, the best thing you can do to prevent a brick in the first place is to delete IOS 70. Then if you do get updated to 4.2, it will install a working IOS 70 first.by winmaster - FixMii
If you could do that then you could also easily fix the system menu you have installed. There is no need to upgrade to 4.3 and then downgrade again.by winmaster - FixMii
It is possible that the same bug in the Homebrew Channel that affected Priiloader is at fault here? Maybe try an older version of the Homebrew Channel or launching the offending apps directly with an exploit.by winmaster - Getting Started

While updating will not cause harm to your Wii, there is really no need to update to 4.3. If you want to save some time and Internet bandwidth, I recommend you do the following: Launch Dop-Mii (wiibrew edition is fine) from the Homebrew Channel. Use it to install the latest revision of IOS 58. Then run the latest HackMii Installer to update the Homebrew Channel. Also install BootMii as bootby winmaster - Getting Started
