BootMii does not work with the Wii Remote. That is why you can't select anything. Also, you need your SD card in if you want to launch BootMii or apps from it.by winmaster - Getting Started

Is "softmod" really only used in piracy? I would think that using the term "softmod" would be appropriate whenever installing the Homebrew Channel, because doing so is making a software modification to your Wii.by winmaster - Getting Started

The newest HackMii installer installes BootMii as IOS when it starts. This is because the installer is dependent on BootMii IOS. If you install BootMii as boot2, then you have both BootMii IOS and BootMii boot2.by winmaster - Getting Started

1. WiiConnect24 will not affect homebrew, and vice versa, but the answer is yes. 2. They can't detect that you hacked your console unless you patch the game itself. 3. I'm not sure. I think that's on the server, but I don't know how WFC works. 4. No, if you put the Homebrew Channel on the SD card, you cannot copy it back to the Wii for use. The homebrew browser should now appear at the first screen appearing in the Homebrew Channel. Try to see if you can launch it. If it does not appear, you did not place it on your SD card correctly.by winmaster - Homebrew General
