There isn't any software that will allow you to do that, as far as I know. However, seeing that both are original, Nintendo manufactured remotes, you could just send them to nintendo as they are faulty. Like SifJar said, they have to replace them by law. (I think)by TopGun96 - Hardware

It would be illegal in many countries for Nintendo to auto update your wii, even though they give themselves the right to. There isn't any code in the system menu to update without your consent. @SifJar My Wii has had WC24 on for three years and it hasn't ever had a single problem with overheating. Although it did stop mid game one time, but I am not 100% sure that it was due to ovby TopGun96 - Software

Loadmii is a facilitator. It just runs code. The hackmii installer is an app that will install HBC, Bootmii, and DVDx. You might be able to watch DVDs on your wii, but maybe not. If that is the case then you just have to wait for TT to figure it out. (or make a hack by yourself :)by TopGun96 - Ideas, requests

Yes newer DVD drives do not work with DVDx. You might have one depending on how old your wii is. In that case there is nothing you can do. Sorry.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
