That is because those are official channels not fake-signed ones. The HBC is a fake-signed channel.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
Unless you have trucha in your system menu IOS, then you wouldn't be able to launch it from the SD menu.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
We do not support backups here so we will not help you with that. As for DVD playback, install the HBC and DVDx with bannerbomb and the hackmii installer. Then use Mplayer CE to launch the DVD. You can find everything you need Here.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
QuoteSifJarnever happens to me on that scale either. I have just thought though; when it happens to me, it may be because a topic has been moved. i have read it in another board, so recognise it, but it says new, because it is new in that board. This means that for me, i'm not sure there IS a bug. Yes I know about that but I am not talking about moved topics....by TopGun96 - Feedback & Support
Do you have a newer/older version of bootmii on your wii than your friends wii?by TopGun96 - BootMii Beta
QuotealainveyI second no avatars or sigs. A pet hate of mine is GBAfail and Tehskeen users who list their console setup, complete with often trivial modification details, as if it were a custom car or something... Woah, this guy's packing a 2GB SD card: cripes, I'd better treat him with respect! I have no complaints about this place. I concur. There is no doubt that this forumby TopGun96 - Feedback & Support
Oh wow.... I've never experienced this bug at that magnitude. Usually it is just a few-1/2 dozen topics.by TopGun96 - Feedback & Support
Oh sorry. I thought he was saying something else. Thanks for clearing that up.by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
No. You must run the hackmii installer on a wii that doesn't have the HBC. Period.by TopGun96 - Getting Started

Do you currently have the Homebrew Channel installed?by TopGun96 - FixMii
It should say something like "install an IOS that accepts fakesigning" or something along those lines.... if you dont see that then you are not using v9.by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
No. If you do not have trucha and wish to get it: -Run Dop-IOS MOD v9 -Select the option that allows you to install a trucha bugged IOS. -Let it do its thingby TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications

Try it without any patches (Trucha) and make sure you are using the newest version.by TopGun96 - FixMii
Yeah you still have cIOSCORP. That is what gives you the "No Vulnerable IOSs" error. Use Dop-IOS MOD to install IOS 30 v1040.by TopGun96 - FixMii

QuoteJeffrwiiWell, I just went out and purchased a new SD card for the heck of it. It is a Sandisk 2gb SD card that is specifically made for the Wii.... I still get the same results, I am 99% sure that it is not a compatibility issue with the SD card. Any ideas what could be happening? I use the same one. The "Official Nintendo SD Card". And I have had no problems with it... I guess a re-instby TopGun96 - Getting Started
Yes you can update if you have HBC. There is almost ZERO chance of bricking just by installing the homebrew channel. It has never happened. You can backup your Wii Channels by simply moving them to the SD card... There is a way to have apps as channels but it is somewhat risky and only for experienced users of wii homebrew.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
I too am trying to set up code blocks. There is no "GCC compiler for PPC" only "GCC Compiler". Me, having no coding skills, just copied the one that was there and named it "Wii Compiler" Now I can not find the "use EABI" or "use hardware floating point". Any help?by TopGun96 - Offtopic
QuoteArikadoMy goodness you children are impatient. Oh noes, its the holiday season; the times people enjoy the real world; no updates in 30 days; must be a dead project because we know pinny has nothing better to do than code. Lol, impatience is ruining the world.by TopGun96 - Homebrew Applications
Oh, well you most certainly do not have a newer drive then. I honestly dont know what the problem could be. Sorry.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
That is quite odd then.... Perhaps a re-install will help? Or maybe your SD card just isn't supported.by TopGun96 - Getting Started
